The Ultimate Bee Gees

I have been looking for the ultimate Bee Gees album and after lots of research believe this to be it. Forty tracks on two CD's that take you down memory lane and are recommended for any fan of the Bee Gees. The album is well priced by Amazon, far cheaper than the high street, or other online stores, and was delivered ahead of schedule. My only complaint is that the case was broken on arrival, badly handled by the couriers with a foot print clearly visible on the cardboard box. Double cases are difficult to obtain so I guess it's time to transfer them all into a protective box and scrap the cases. Amazon pricing and product. 5 stars Courier.(D*L) Minus 5 stars

Who doesn’t know the bee gees. this album pretty much covers all their greatest hits over 60s 70s and 80s. It’s great to play every now and then. Probably in my opinion one of the greatest British bands, in the music industry.

What a fantastic product at a bargain basement price. This double cd album has all the well known songs produced by the Bee Gees, and they all still sound great even today. They had the most amazing harmonies and produced many number ones including night frver and staying alive. Make sure you have this in your collection.

Arrived nice and early haven't tried its a present

Only reason I've given this four stars is because I'm finding it a bit ridiculous reviewing a greatest hits CD that I clearly bought. Who in their right mind buys a greatest hits CD and then rates it as rubbish? Unless I'd been living on planet Zog for the past 40 years and had never heard of the Bee Gees or their songs then my only reason for buying it is because I like them. Again, it is what it is. It's a CD of music I like. And I bought it. And it arrived in good time. Thank you. Very good. Well done all round I say.

I was very impressed with this double album which has nineteen tracks on disc one and twenty one on disc two. Some are 'live' tracks which I always enjoy. The mix of songs is very enjoyable and varied and yet again good value for money. If you love these guys this double album is a must have. I played both discs and my housework was put on hold as I didn't want any other sound in the house apart from the BeeGees creating their special magic sound.

One of the best compilation albums I think you can buy. No idea what Bee Gees songs may be missing from it, but what I do know is that I look at the track listings and recognise much more from Disc 1 than Disc 2 BUT that it is actually Disc 2 that I prefer.

Fabulous collection of songs, a real blast from the past. When I first listened to it in the car on my way to a new supply school, I was so into it and singing along that I missed my turning on the A55!

At my parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration held the other evening, we saw some folks that we used to go to in the summer and head to their cabin on a lake near Westlock Alberta. Now what does that have to do with this? Well it was the first time that I heard, really, the Bee Gees. They had a tape of one of the albums and I put it in and then put the tape player (independent one) into a basket on a bike and rode back and forth on the dirt road beside their place and totally loved the music! This is an excellent package and would never be a mistake for anyone to get and add to their collection, guaranteed! I have their last 'live' album from when they had their concert on Vegas and heard even more, that I had never heard before and I loved it, obviously still do, and it was not even a question if this package would be excellent to have and as it arrived, after listening to it, I was not disappointed!

Immer wieder toll fürs Mitsingen und -tanzen für die, die ihre Jugend in den 70er und 80er Jahren verbrachten! Man kennt fast jedes Lied und bekommt heute noch gute Laune beim Hören!

Shortly before Robin passed away, I set out to collect everything Bee Gees I could get my hands on, and started with this. A lot of great reviews, which I won't try to duplicate. Just to say this is the best survey of Bee Gees music you're going to find anywhere. No, it doesn't replace the separate albums, especially the pre-Stayin' Alive days. But a very good reminder of how talented they were, what great songs they cranked out, and a very good starting place for anyone wanting to fall back in love with one of the hardest working groups or musicians and entertainers around. When everyone else was fading and losing stream, they kept on going right past mean spirited dee-jays and music business guys, past their top 40 shelf life, and right on into history as one of the longest lasting working bands in music history. I've gone on to purchase just about every album they released. Not a bum song on the set. If you want a greatest hits set, this one is it.
