Easy to install, lasts for 10 years, covers both smoke and carbon dioxide. An excellent deal to save your home and family or business area. If an elder lady such as myself can install it, you certainly can as well.

The install couldn't be made any simpler, just screw the base to your ceiling or in my case upper wall and twist the alarm onto it which activates it giving you an idea of what to expect should it ever go off. Glad that it's a combo of smoke and carbon detector, LCD screen is easy to read and testing it just requires a push of the button. Most building codes say you should have at least three of these, one for each bedroom but I no longer use my old bedroom or the middle bedroom so there is nothing in them that could start a fire. However my central heating unit is in the hallway so I mounted this alarm in the same spot just on the wall and not the ceiling. As for longevity/Battery life, no one can say but I trust the manufacturer to state what tests they've done have shown them. So, just test it once a week like I'm doing, it does give me some peace of mind after years of not replacing the old one plus no 9V battery to replace!

I have Ring system and it doesn’t work directly with it but I chose this one because of the features and price and size. I bought a Ring listener and I use them together. I like it and the battery should last a long time.I’ve added a picture of the X-Sense and Ring listener next to each other, so if you do decide to go this route and you do have the Ring system, this is what you’ll have to mount on your wall to get the products to work together.

Haven’t had it long enough to provide a detailed review, but it was easy to set up and has worked fine so far for the first week or so.

You know any of those other alarms from the bib box stores that some of us got too many of for too long? Well that's OVER. All I can say is where have these been all my life. Sick of big companies selling stuff that performs like crappe. Harsh, sorry. Anyway, I love these. Bought one, then bought several more. Boxed nicely, look great, work fantastic.

Great product and easy to install.

This took a very long time to arrive, but finally did so. It is as described and seems to be working fine. It is easy to install with smoke, fire and carbon monoxide protection. As for battery life, check back in 10 years. (I hope!)
