The first one I received from Amazon had these really loud, random, noise spikes while using it. I was testing this and hoped to use it for massages with soothing music, however the noise spikes and glitches made it unusable if someone had nodded off to sleep.I contacted the supplier, and they were very helpful and responsive. They arranged a return to them, and promptly I received the replacement.The replacement works and it has no spikes and glitches. The sounds quality is very good, and I'm going to say the signal is very strong. It goes very loud, with a fullness of sound from all frequencies. I haven't turned it to full blast to check at what point it distorts, as the loud volume that is bearable is plenty loud and the signal is clear and not distorted.I never tested the water resistance, I can't tell you guys how effective the water resistance is. I always shy away from submerging electronics in water, even when the manufacturer says it's ok.Here is my gripe. This may not bother some folks, but it really bothers me. My other audio speakers like this do not do this. When turning this off, it does not remember the function setting (SD card) and it does not remember the volume setting. It must always be switched to SD card mode, and the volume must always be turned down again. I can tell you, when you turn this off and on numerous times throughout the day, having to fully get all the settings back as you had them last time you used it gets old, for me at least. The speaker is great, however this usability feature is really tiring.Aside from that, it is definitely a good quality speaker.

I ordered this speaker on a whim because the image looked interesting and I always like speakers with good additional configurations like waterproofing and stuff.That being said, if you need a rugged outdoor waterproof speaker, I would definitely recommend this, but if you just want a good speaker that works and is water resistant for home or the park or whatever, go with something else.There are plenty of speakers out there, and some sound worse than this and some sound better, but at this price point I've tried many speakers that sounded better than this and looked nicer as well. The orange string thing is a cool idea and looks fine but the lights on this and the overall sound quality definitely leave a bit to be desired.All in all, I still give this 5 stars as it literally says it's only a 30W speaker and it's main focus is outdoor adventuring and waterproof-ness, and it definitely delivers on those, but at least for my since I'm not as much an outdoor person I'm gonna keep using the other speakers I have that sound a bit better.

I honestly was disappointed it's loud as in it'll fill up the room but lacks bass and the buttons are complicated. Not worth the money it's more like a $20 speaker. Returning it!

When unboxing this speaker I was really excited! The build quality, the weight and packaging were all top notch. The speaker charged fast via USB-C. It is on the large to medium size speaker. Sound is okay not great. I get a funny feedback when syncing it to Bluetooth on my phone or tablet. You can hear the feedback between songs (this is the reason only 4 stars). Unfortunately the sound and connection has let me down. I had higher hopes.

It also has some nice RGB effects. I recommend.

I have been unable to test how truly waterproof it is as of yet, but the sound quality on it not very good. I am an audiophile, so it might still be good enough for you if you are less picky or discerning about audio fidelity and just want some competitively-priced portable speakers. It is easy to use, comes with a nice color-coded orange USB charging cable so you will never get confused about which charging cable belongs to it. The size is not too bulky, but I would expect better sound quality for its size (especially considering the fact that I have an affordable portable Bose speaker which is about half the size of this one which has much better sound quality than it does.). Overall I have not found anything to complain about other than the laptop speaker-esque, tinny sounding sound signature that these have. Everything else about it seems to be well designed and it has a really great feeling in the hands as well. I will update this review later if I get a chance to test its water resistance at a pool sometime!

I ordered this for my movie projector. Since it's portable, I wanted it for outdoor movie night. Unfortunately, there's too much static in it to hear anything. Not the greatest speaker for movies. I gave it a 3 because I still use it to listen to music off my phone. It's not bad for that. But I think it's too pricey for what you get.

Great sound for this extremely portable speaker. I was pleasantly surprised as to the weight as this is well made not cheap plastic feeling with several options for displaying the lights which is pretty cool. I tried using as a sound bar for TV but it’s really not made for that as it just didn’t amplify as expected however when using a music app such as YouTube music not regular YouTube the sound was extremely impressive as bass & trebles resonated thru out the room in fact the wife complained it was too loud.
