ModelcraftMini Diamond File Set, Silver

The different shapes of the files made it immensely easier to file the different shapes of parts of models. Though they do appear to leave marks on the models, they do leave a smooth finish and any 'marks' are easily hidden beneath coats of paint.Cannot see why some people complain about that, personally find they work great. The only reason they are being given 4 star and not 5 is because the handles are a bit thin so can make it difficult to hold sometimes.

Each file is very precise and grinds away excess plastic without any visible damage to the piece.The only issue is that the handles of the files are very thin and short - it can be tricky to maintain a proper grip.

I don't know what I expected for the price but they look like they are coated in glitter rather than incorporating any kind of "diamond". They are abrasive but too rough. If you use these for working with models/miniatures they leave noticeable scratches and grooves. They need to be much finer if they're going to be suitable that use.

This is an excellent file set for modellers. I have used these on both resin kits and plastic kits and the finish is superb.

Not as thin as I thought. Files too big still

I mainly make Bolt Action 28mm soldiers, and for these figures these files are ideal, I have a larger set for general smoothing but for small gaps and fine detail these are great, and not expensive. Recommended.
