I get to try out some cool stuff, and this Edge Pro Core MagSafe mount from Rolling Square landed on my desk. I've used a few phone mounts over the years, and honestly, many are just "meh" – either they don't hold well, or they're clunky. This one? Pretty impressed, actually. Right out of the box, you can tell this isn't some flimsy plastic thing. It's got a nice weight and feels really well-made. The finish is good, definitely gives off a premium vibe. Setup was ridiculously easy; it's pretty intuitive. Stick it where you want it, pop your phone on. Done. The big question, of course, is how well does it hold? If you've got a MagSafe compatible iPhone (or a case that works with it), you're in for a treat. It just *snaps* right into place with a really satisfying thud. The magnet is strong – like, really strong. I can tap my phone screen, swipe, even give it a little wiggle, and it doesn't budge or feel like it's going to fall off. It feels super secure. I've been using it primarily on my desk as a secondary screen for quick glances at messages or to watch a YouTube video while I'm working. It frees up desk space and keeps my phone visible without being in the way. I could easily see this being awesome in the kitchen for following recipes hands-free, or even as a super minimal car setup if you've got a good, flat surface to attach it to (though I haven't personally tried it in the car yet). What I really appreciate is how clean and minimalist it looks. No clamps, no fiddling with adjustable arms that inevitably get loose. Just the phone floating there. The only real consideration is *where* you're going to put it. Like any adhesive mount, make sure your surface is clean and relatively flat for the best, most permanent hold. Once it's on, it's on for good. If you're tired of flimsy mounts or just want to embrace the MagSafe ecosystem for a desktop or other static setup, this Rolling Square Edge Pro Core is a fantastic option. It feels like a premium product that actually delivers on its promises. Definitely recommended for iPhone users looking for a solid, no-fuss mount.

This magnetic stand exceeded my expectations. This is a really high quality accessory for having your iphone at your fingertips but visible when using your laptop. Super convenient for 2 factor authentication moments and seeing incoming calls while using your laptop. The adhesive is very sticky but be careful if you are putting this on an older macbook pro with the slightly curved back as it will pop up a bit as that part is not perfectly flat. On my other laptops and newer macbook there were no issues at all as those surfaces are perfectly flat. I have 2 sets of these and I can move the folding part to my third laptop that I bought an additional mount for or if you misplace one you can easily switch them around. You can also use it as a standalone mount for the phone as the hinge will hold the phone at any angle for viewing. The Magnetics are super strong and hold the phone very securely.

As of this writing (Fall 2023 in LA) I am very pleased with the my initial installation and first drive with the Edge Pro Core. I particularly like that there is no plastic rattle and chatter when driving. I have purposely only given 4 stars today as I am a bit skeptical that the adhesion will survive the baking heat of our LA summers, especially inside a closed vehicle. I expect it to slowly lose grip, though I hope I'm wrong. I will update then. Installation is straightforward but you best be prepared where you place the base adhesive. You get one try, in my opinion. It would have been helpful if a template specifically made for the Tesla display were provided. After I placed the adhesive base I let it sit a bit before placing the Edge Core. The core itself is of a satisfying substantial weight and well made. No sharp edges, well thought out, and designed. After some time I placed the Edge Core on the base and was satisfied with the position. Originally, I placed the magnetic ring on the wrong spot of my phone case. I placed it where you would charge a MagSafe iPhone: in the middle. I didn't like it there and quickly moved it towards the bottom heel of the phone case as I wanted to be able to see my phone (iPhone 11 pro) above the right hand stalk and steering wheel. No plastic chatter/rattle during drives! One of the things that aggravated me with some car phone holders I've owned was the inevitable rattle of plastic. The Edge Core has no plastic parts so it has no chance to do that. The magnet is strong and I don't expect my phone to fly out either. Very pleased! I just bought this during this year's Black Friday event and very happy with my purchase. I just have to see if the adhesive base will survive our summar, though! I would have also like had they designed it to telescope in and out (near and far) but I realize that this wasn't designed for a car. Will report back then. UPDATE [12/14/24]: Well, after one, not so hot, Los Angeles, CA summer, in combination with the Tesla monitor generating a lot of heat, the adhesive backing attached to the back of the Tesla screen slipped off. I don't think I'll try adding new adhesive, even with 3M's adhesive for automobiles, because I know those eventually delaminate and fall off too. I know this product wasn't designed for a car so if used for its intended purpose(s) it might hold up better. Good luck!

It were great and it was easy to install. It held my phone (iphone 16 Pro Max) great for the first two days. After that the plastic piece, glued to the metal face, that keeps the whole thing from sinking down broke and now it is unusable. That plastic dot is only glued on so until that is fixed it will never last long. Wasted my money.

Initial hesitation was "sticking" something to my laptop, but I am SO GLAD that I did. This helps my workflow and focus. It's so low profile and never in the way. I can have my phone out of my pocket and off of my desk. Saves time and distraction instead of having to check notifications seperately because the phone is right next to your screen already. It's also a suprisingly good phone stand because the hinge has some useful "resistance" to it, so it stays at any angle you open it to. So, it can also be used as a vertical or horizontal phone holder. P.S. as nice option to have, there is an app (or maybe a few) that let you extend your screen to your phone, so you can literally have an extra monitor on your screen by attaching the phone. (I don't often do the screen extention because I have other portable screens, but still a nice option to have) This product was a huge game changer for me. 10 stars.

I really like this phone holder but wish it was a little more versatile on where to mount it aka remove and remount. I have mine mounted on my laptop for phone facetime and to have my phn at eye level during a call so it's not super obvious that I am checking my phn while on a call. Overall good, just wish it was a bit easier on-off and useable on mulitple places.

Works perfectly for my MacBook. Also use it for my external hard drives (I put a magnetic ring around my Sandisk Extreme/Samsung T7 SSDs) and it’s nice to have it stick to the back of my laptop instead of dangling while I’m editing video. Would purchase again for sure.

Pratique pour bien avoir le tel à côté de l'écran du laptop, je l'utilise beaucoup partout. Solide, le tel ne tombe pas, et l'écran du pc ne bouge pas pourvu que l'angle de son ouverture ne soit pas trop petit ni grand. Je détache aussi le support magnétique et je l'utilise pour tenir mon tel sur une table. Le seul point négatif c'est la partie qu'il faut coller sur le laptop et qui gâche un peu son look.
