Connection issues with printer
Five stars should be four stars. Using the 4G aspect is great however the printer connection to the actual interface is iffy and does affect the performance of the unit itself. I have actually found myself disconnecting the printer in favour for continuity in the interface something that should be considered before buying the printer bundle.

Very poor and not reliable
After 1 year and 3 weeks and only five uses. (still has the original till roll barley used) The printer will not longer charge and cannot be used in conjunction with the reader. Was told that item out of warranty, where is fair use in this. Offered me £40 off new one but can be purchsed cheaper via Amazon or Toolstation.I would advise strongly against purchasing this equipment as it is essential equipment for a trader and not cheap if you have to replace on a yearly basis.AVOID

Good value
Very good most of the time but sometimes looses WiFi easy and freezes a few times.

Perfect.
No problems setting up, fantastic quality, does exactly what it’s supposed to do, flexible and has all the features and information you could need, especially like the free sim built in if you can’t get WiFi connection, it works. It may seem a little expensive but for me it’s well worth the money. Highly recommended.

Bit Disappointed
Regularly use SumUp and wanted the printer option but could not get it to work. Solo wouldn’t recognise it was connected to a printer but if it managed to, the printer showed zero battery. I am currently in process of returning it. Have ordered a second one that I really hope works as expected. SumUp is good and this is the only time I’ve been let down. Worth trying on Black Friday prices but not full price.

Saw this card machine at another club and the barman was singing it praises. As a consequence bought one for our club but the captain of the club could not programme it and as asked me to return it and get a refund! In no way do I blame SumUp but believe the unit was not faulty just that nobody was sufficiently experienced with technology to programme it. Hence I tried not to rate it before writing this piece.

Pointless. Just download the app and use your phone.
Dreadful. Arrived with 40% charge. Left for 4 hours. (Display Indicator said it was charging) Never went above 40%. Printer was showing 0%. Didn't charge at all. Removed point of sale display and put printer on charge separately. Suspect printer will not charge with display unit until it has reached 100% charge. Pointless having to charge 2 things. This charged the printer to 30%. Tried a couple of £1 test charges. There was no on-screen option to sent text or email receipt. Tried printer where half the text was just a blur and the rest so small, you needed a magnifying glass to see it. Returned.
