I bought two similar shoe styles for a wedding I was attending in June. I kept this pair and returned the other. Why I gave it a 5* reviewEASE OF PUTTING THEM ON: This pair of shoes has a slide hook. That is, once you adjust the strap with it's pin/hole to set your comfort size, you just slide and hook the strap on. It's BRILLIANT!! I always had trouble putting these kind of shoes on. I struggled getting the pin to slide into one of those bloody strap holes.COMFORT: I wore these shoes for 8+ hours, and not once did my feet hurt. They're just the right height.I danced in these shoes doing the slide, clod hopping, and general dancing. I'm 60+ and these shoes were so easy to dance in. Not once with these shoes did I wobble or fear falling. The solid heel is WONDERFUL. I actually felt feminine wearing these instead of my flats. In fact, I love these so much I just bought a second pair, JIC I do something stupid wearing this pair (I have a talent for that.)I highly recommend this product

I cannot wear heels. However, I am going to a cocktail party and needs must. After trying multiple shoes in store, I had concluded that 2 1/4" were as much as I could handle. These were listed as approximately 2 1/2" which made me worry, but I took a chance. Turns out the actual heel is only 2" - if you don't include the sole. With the sole, it is between 2 1/4" and 2 1/2". That difference between the heel and the sole is padding for your foot. This turns out to be more padded than just about every other shoe of this type that I tried. It was also the least expensive. I call that a win.

Finally found shoes I can wear for my daughter's wedding that don't kill my feet! I am close to 70 years old with terrible arthritis in my knees and feet. I have had two foot surgeries on my big toes, which all makes it very difficult to find dressy shoes for special functions. These have a chunky low heal that I can actually walk in! They look nice with my knee-length dress. Very pleased!Only gave a 4 because I haven't worn them for several hours yet, and becuase the glitter does tend to shed. But I think they will be fine for the day/evening I need them.

I bought this pair and a pair of lifestride sandals that were similiar and these were very uncomfortable. The lifestride molded to my feet the first time wearing them. Not to mention they were expensive as well.

After trying on over a dozen different shoes all over the place, this pair finally satisfied my feel and needs. I have a rather wide foot bed, larger than most ankles and a high instep. These shoes feet my wide foot fine and the ankle strap is the best I've seen. After putting it in the last hole, it has a special loop that secures that the clasp won't pull off. Hard to describe but it makes the closure very secure. I love it. If you need a little more width, this shoe should fit you. It is gold flecks, but it didn't come off for me.

Beautiful and it even fit my wide feet but very uncomfortable to wear, no support on my flat arches, i could feel the hard ground wearing them. The straps were easy to use, well designed, you just hook it! I love the glittery look but it was uncomfortable for my feet. I will keep this gold one but i will return the silver pair! I wanted to have both but it would not serve my feet well.

These shoes come in a cute little bag, individually wrapped and padded. It’s a nice presentation. I ordered the gold 7.5 (my normal size and they fit perfectly. I did not have any glitter shedding or rubbing on my skin. They do feel a little more “show choir” and maybe “older and wiser” to me. :)
