Design flaws in the straps and generally a poor fit for a slim build
The general manufacturing and materials quality is pretty good, but the previous reviewer is correct in pointing out the major design flaw: the single long "belt" that is provided to go around your body does not attach the chest and back panels together and thus cannot provide tension on the shoulder. I solved this by simply sticking a couple of extra velcro strips halfway along the belt so that it grips the back as well as the front at the same time.However, even with that problem solved it doesn't provide very good support. Despite buying the small size it seems way too large around the upper arm and shoulder and there is no adjustment strap at all at the upper arm to help with it. The designer just seems to have assumed that everyone has a ginormous shoulder - maybe they have never seen someone that doesn't live in a gym??

Very well made and fairly priced but a design flaw means it doesn't work
If you want to use this to apply pressure/tension to a shoulder joint it won't work. The tabs from the shoulder pad are attached to the front and back panels. However those panels are not attached to anything. The strap that goes around the chest runs through 'belt loops' on the panels but is not fixed to those panels. So although that band holds the panels snug to the body it doesn't stop them sliding around. And when you pull the tabs from the shoulder pad and fix then to the panels instead of the panels pulling on the shoulder pad and giving pressure/tension, the shoulder pad pulls on the panels and they just slide towards the shoulder pad removing all pressure/tension. It's a simple sewing job to turn the circular band into fixed tabs on the the panels so that it does work, though! Which is what I've done and now I have a great device :)..To add to my disappointment this company failed to read my feedback and sent a standard message saying if the item had not been used it could be returned. My feedback made it quite clear I am using this item after adapting it..They then sent me a follow-up saying that they still haven't received it!Apparently they don;t believe in Customer Care at all :(.

Dissapointing
Not for me. To clumsy to put on, don't seem to fit correctly, when on don't seem to off any real support. In my opinion over priced .
