Not ideal and beware of colour choice
I have mixed feelings about this item. Firstly read the text on the product... there is a grey one... not black as i thought. It looks black in the picture. I returned this and went for a cream one. Im use to lining my compost bibs with biodegradable bags but you cant do this with this product as it looks untidy. So each time you empty the bin you have to wash it. Not ideal. I wouldn't recommend item. Looks good but not that practical

Not Fit For Intended Purpose
With so many compost bins available you will want to steer clear of this one. It has a major design flaw. The carbon filter does not sit against the top vent and leaves a gap. So fruit flies can come and go as they please, which defeats the purpose of having a bin! The supplier is great tho and I received a full refund some 14 months after original purchase. ;)

Good caddy
This is a very good compost caddy to replace an identical one that had rusted. A good addition to this set would be a band or clip to retain the bag on the outside of the caddy, as placing the lid on pulls the compost able bag inside.

Good but handle needs improvement
Pretty, practical, good volume for one person or a small family. One major drawback for me : the handle keeps coming off. It's especially annoying because it happens almost every time I actually want to use the handle to bring it outside.

Compost bin
Its a good size but I have to say even with the filtered lid, the flies do get attracted to it, apart from that its sturdy and looks much better than the green plastic bin s provided by the council.
