Why did you pick this product vs others?:The more I've used this safe, the more I appreciate how well it's made. The biometric fingerprint reader is terrific and fast, and very easy to set up with fingerprints as well as the keycode. Unlike most safes that give you a series of beeps to interpret, this one has a female voice that steps you through the process, telling you how to access the menus and responding to your input. When it's finalyl set up, and you unlock the door, her voice will say "Welcome."To which I always add, "... professor" because she sounds like Cerebro from the X-Men films.The safe is very well protected and self-illuminated once you open the door. A shelf on the top gives room for secondary items, while the main level has multiple pins (removable) for about four pistols, or a stack of important paperwork or valuables. If your pistols have a red-dot sight at the top, there isn't enough room to keep them upright. You'll tilt them at an angle to make them fit, which isn't awful, but a larger model may be better.I don't believe the safe is fireproof, but it is absolutely solid. You might want to anchor it to your floor to prevent theft... I have it on my nightstand and the smallest one is quite large for the space, but it does work. However, there's no mistaking that this is a safe and not some fancy nightstand clock.Overall-- excellent safe. Would buy again.

I have a collection of gun safes/pistol boxes that I've collected over the years. The ones that I find to not be user friendly usually are relegated to just being safe storage for valuables I don't need to access often. I have had this one for nearly 4 years now and aside from the very large safe that I use for larger weapons, it has been my longest consistently serving primary pistol safe. The biometrics are very easy to set up and work very well. The reason I'm writing this review now after nearly 4 years is out of appreciation for the Billconch team. My biometrics scanner had an issue and wasn't recognizing any fingerprints. I reached out to Billconch and they were extremely responsive. They stood behind their product and worked with me to resolve the issue. There are many companies who sell through Amazon who are unresponsive or just quote corporate policy to you when you have issues with their products. I very much appreciate a company who actually takes pride in what they do, cares about their customer's satisfaction and happiness and goes above and beyond in making sure that the customer is satisfied and getting the expected result and longevity from their product. They could have thrown some warranty fine print at me or shrugged it off but they didn't. I can honestly say that this product is a delight to use and when it had an issue, Billconch worked with me to rectify the issue to my complete satisfaction.

I like that this safe has the app associated with it although I do think the app needs work since anybody with your phone can access it, there's no password protection for the app. We needed a safe that was easy to enter, had fingerprint and other access avenues, and could hold a decent number of guns all of which this safe satisfies. It was very easy to set up with multiple codes and fingerprints, it only took about 15 minutes from opening the box to adding guns. The safe is not fireproof or waterproof which I wish I had realized but is not a total deal breaker. Overall, it is a quality safe for the price and accomplishes what it needs to, safely locking up guns and ammo.

As far as gun safes go, this one is pretty good. There are multiple ways of accessing the contents of the safe, from biometrics to pins and keys. Of course the fingerprint scanner could be better, but at this price point, you can't ask for much better. If it fails to scan the first time, it normally works on the second round. It feels premium for a small amount of money.The only negative thing I will say about the safe is that the front door feels like it could easily be pried open with the right tool. It has a little "play" to it, so I could fit a small pry bar in there. Otherwise, it seems extremely sturdy.

Totally worth the money and it’s a great safe. Easy to set up and very sturdy. Definitely worth it for small handheld items.

Nice little safe to keep my handguns secure. All functions work well. Someone else posted some concern about the small rods scratching the bore and I'd have to agree. I'll probably wrap them in something. I like the "quiet mode". I like being able to register multiple fingerprints. Haven't done anything with the App, so I can't really comment there. When it arrived, there were no instructions on the outside of the safe and it was locked tight. It came with 2 keys and maybe I was just having a senior moment but couldn't find the keyhole LOL. Had to find a YouTube video on setup (because their website is terrible). It's behind a little flap on the control panel. Once inside, everything I needed to know about setup was on a flowchart that (at first) looked a little daunting...but eventually made sense.

Great quality safe. Perfect for six handguns and accessories. Great LED screen that shows battery life.
