This is a very powerful magnet so be prepared. The little string on the bit that goes outside makes sure that you don't lose it if the two halves become separated, which is useful. All-in-all it solved a problem for me with a sash window that was too high up the house to contemplate using a ladder to get to it. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolute doddle to use, that’s not the problemFollowed the instructions, 6-7 times, soapy water, windowlene , doesn’t matter, leaves not streaks but smears . Gave up and wobbled up a ladder which wasn’t my idea of fun…… I have an up date on this review, now the seller got in touch and sent me the stronger magnet option, and I have to say that this model worked a lot better, so to give them a fair review I should tell you this

Works really well, make sure you order the correct size for your windows (single glazing, double etc). It works great, you just need to make sure you put on plenty of product on both sides of the window and go slowly following an S pattern on the windows. The microfiber cloths are handy to dry off the windows, make sure they’re not too wet between uses. Only small issue is it’s hard to reach the small corners but overall it cleans the windows well!

Update: the company reached out to me after my initial review and confirmed I had a faulty device. They sent me an upgraded model which cleans beautifully and easily. Couldn't be more impressed with this seller's customer service, they went above and beyond!I read the negative reviews on here and was sure that it was a case of people not taking the time to learn how to correctly use it. I watched the video, read the instructions, and off I went. Bought the green one and they held together, but I don't think they'd work on anything thicker than my 18ish mm Windows.The string constantly snags on window fixtures if you're not mindful, which pops the outside one off. The inside squeegee cleans fine, the outside one only cleans well right at the magnets, which makes me think the blades aren't perfectly straight or the magnet isn't holding the device together strongly enough to evenly clean.Anyway. I started well. I got the hang of it , the outside piece hadn't fallen off.i put the blue cloths on to finish and then notice a deep scratch on the inside of my window. Look at the rubber blades and see a little bit of loose plastic stuck in them. I sold myself for not checking first and move on. I do okay, the windows are quite streaky but I figure it's better than dust and grime. The blue cloths are wet after a couple of windows and don't clean so well anymore. I encounter a few more string-snags and the outside piece falls and clatters off the wall outside, and eventually both green plastic cap pieces and both magnets fall out. I watch on in horror and the two magnets bounce and snap together. I sit down and finally prise them apart after five minutes, before supergluing them into place. All in all, an expensive and frustrating let-down that damaged one of my new windows.

Good pointsI originally ordered a version that was too weak. I found customer services very helpful and quick to help with an exchange of D3 adjustable for the D2. It is helpful that they come with a measuring tool so you can tell if they are the right version. I have had another type of magnet cleaners before and the fact these come with a separator block is VERY sensible. (You’ll see everywhere that the magnets are strong, you have been warned). The reason my old ones from another supplier failed was because they DO from time to time stick together and the squeegee eventually tore while getting them apart. I still need to get the hang of these but got windows clean that otherwise never get cleaned outside.Probably worth a punt if like me, you are too tight to pay a window cleaner.Bad pointsThe unit is too long to do my quarter lights. (I can get to those normally, just not easy). Generally though could do with being shorter as they are bulky.I found the section right under the magnets was cleaned but the middle between the two did not clean well. So took longer.I could not get right to the edge of the windows the squeegee does not extend at all from the body of the unit.

Purchased this to clean the insides of our secondary glazed windows, which hadn't been cleaned for at least 10 years and likely longer due to inaccessibility from both inside and outside. We can actually see properly out of our kitchen window for the first time since we moved in - the window cleaner did its job perfectly.There is a little bit of judder when the unit moves along the window - particularly from the 'other' side - but a bit of patience and multiple passes yielded a basically pristine inner window as well as the outer panes which were cleaned at the same time. I did buy a few additional cloths and I'm glad I did as getting any cleaning spray inside the secondary glazing is a challenge and so I used the first set of cloths quite wet to start the job of lifting the dirt, and a second set to finish the job and remove streaks.Wish I'd bought this years ago, and would have done had I known it existed. Looking forward to attacking the house's other secondary glazing in the coming weeks :)
