A great item.Bought for a portable vacuum for car and caravan. And it picks stones and dirt up well.Good life on a 5ah battery cleaned a pair of cars . Comes with a selection of tools. Crevice and normal wide angle but really needs a brush as it sucks well but skims over tough patches.The pipe disconnected from unit makes a good portable unit even though occasionally rotates over due to use.Those gripes apart .It's cleans . It is easy to empty. And the small waste collection it has is good for a reasonable usage before emptying. The filter is good .Would buy again and recommend to anyone who wants a portable vacuum. Not tried with DIY tools yet but I would expect really good extraction.

The vacuum does what it says and is generally easy to use. The hose *could* be longer, but it's fine and of course restricted by the overall unit design. I'd have liked it to come with a brush attachment, but it does not.It is primarily for our cars and it seems to suck well enough - of course, not like a powerful domestic or professional cleaner, but fine for keeping the cars clean on a regular basis.I have the smallest DeWalt battery and I think that it would last for two car's worth of general cleaning, which is fine.I am sure that it will last 5 years or more, being a DeWalt and is therefore great value for money.I'd recommend this, especially to car owners and enthusiasts.

Quite a good level of suction for a portable battery operated vacuum. This machine is ideal for cleaning your car and cleaning up after small DIY projects. The only down side is the lack of tools supplied with the vacuum, I had to purchase a small set from Amazon to allow me to clean up more easily.

Great bit of kit. Very handy for mini spills. Strong suction & works exceptionally well in the garage & workshop.

In using this hoover i found the suction not that good and the Noise level loud. Everything else is good. As for the filter it does clog with sawdust or plasterboard dust and needs to be cleaned regularly. Only a 3 Star as Build Good, cordless for any purpose good, wet and dry pick up good. Suction ok and noise too loud. If working on a building site it would be good. Awaiting the cordless Henry hoover!

Have had many car vacuum cleaners but nothing even comes close to this one! I used it all the time, everywhere! Powerful, great capacity and it is DEWALT so I can use the same battery as all my other DEWALT tools! Highly recommended!

I tried the Worx vacuum first as I've had their products before and found them reliable, equally I've Dewalt power tools plus a mains Dewalt vacuum in my workshop, the Worx cordless vacuum was not good, poor empty system, very small filter which clogs quickly, mediocre vacuum suction, this Dewalt cordless vacuum is in a different league, easier to use, good sized taste collection chamber which is so easy to empty, plus the filter is so much bigger than the Worx. Pay a bit more and get the Dewalt you won't regret it. It's now in my house as the go to before reaching for a full size vacuum. Plus if you buy genuine Dewalt batteries they last so long before needing recharging.
