Chef Knife Set, 8 Inch Professional Kitchen Knife

First off - the price for 2 was great. I had people staying in the house that after one of my Wusthof paring knives ended up with a bent tip - I packed up the good stuff. These are like lots of sanisafe knives - thinner blades, stamped and sharpened. Good, large handles, inexpensive, likely fine to just sharpen with a mechanical sharpener. The width of the blade though makes it a great knife for chopping, dicing, anything I'd use a vegetable clever for. They are actually really good knives for the price. If you treat them the way a kitchen knife should be (no dishwasher, use a cutting board, don't freaking pry things with it :) they hold an edge pretty well.

Sharp and good quality. Now I need to find the same thing but one size smaller

For the low price these are way better than I thought. Very sharp out of box and feels great in hand. Short adjustment when chopping for first time from the fat blade but feels great when you choke up on handle and pinch spine of blade. Amazing bang for buck.

So far so good. Recommended.

Although it is a heavy handle knife It isn’t very sharp.
