Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara

Beautiful, natural-looking lashes! Purple is very dark and natural looking.

I have tried a lot of mascara, but none of them does my lashes justice compared to this mascara. I don't have super long or very dense lashes, but this mascara makes my lashes look great. I also feel like my eyes look more alert when I wear it. I will say that if you are crying a lot, it will smudge, as many do, but that is expected.

I ordered this twice and both times were fails. The first one I received had clearly been used - the tube was empty and there was mascara all over the top of the tube/lid. The second one I received was bone dry and could not be used. It’s a shame that a product like this can be sent out in such a poor, unhygienic state without being caught.

I always come back to Eyeko for my mascara and liquid eyeliners. Great pigment payoff for the colorful versions (green is beautiful), and it gives a very full and fluffy lash that still looks natural. I'm not a big fan of the falsie look on myself so that's a big selling point for me. The formula isn't irritating to my eyes throughout the day and I don't experience any clumping, flaking, or smearing when I'm working.4 stars as it does have a tendency to dry out a bit quicker than other popular brands, but it is a drier formula even in a fresh tube. I'll take that over a super wet mascara any day.

Many complaints are because the colored mascaras don’t show up. If you use a white primer, the colors show up beautifully! Without them, yes, your lashes just look black, which is kind of like getting two colors in one tube. I like the curved wand and the tube-I ordered 3 and all tubes came fully filled. I liked how it applies; it’s not too dry or too wet and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive allergy eyes. It stays on all day, my lashes didn’t lose curl, and it came off easily with just warm water and a washcloth. Purchased blue and brown, and have ordered green. Will keep purchasing! :)

I gave it only 3 stars because I received the item and it was dry. The color is pretty. That's all.

I have short lashes. I am a middle aged mom who has tried discount brand, name brand, lots of different brands of mascara. Issues with prior mascaras: flaking, not lengthening, clumping, transfer to the skin under my eyes when I smile (I hate this one!). I got a sample of this brand from Ipsy a few years back and loved it but shied away from purchasing a full tube because of the price. Fast forward after trying multiple brands and not feeling like I got my money’s worth. This stuff lasts, doesn’t transfer, comes off with my makeup remover wipes and I love the results more than any other brand.
