Very tasty bread flour
I was not sure if I would like this product. I was not disappointed. Used it in my bread machine on the wheat setting and it came out perfect. It is a healthy ancient grain.

Best Sourdough Bread
Finally, success with sourdough bread. I do not know anything about this flour, but my bread mentor swears by it. I add only 2/3 cup to my dough along with my starter, bread flour, salt and water. My bread is gorgeous and tastes fantastic. This flour is hard to come by so Thank God Amazon has it available

Would not buy again
Too dense in recipes, no successful recipes with this product

Not the regular yellow kamut flour
I expected a yellower, sweeter flour. This flour is more regular whole wheat flour.

A bit coarser and more absorbent than all-purpose flour, but good!
I ordered this kamut flour, because I've been trying to replace the more refined carbs in my diet with more natural, nutritious option, and this flour fit the bill. So far, I've used it to make brownies, and I'm fairly pleased with the results. I did notice that this flour is a bit coarser and more absorbent than a traditional all-purpose flour, so that's worth keeping in mind. The brownie batter ended up fairly thick, and the finished product was a bit denser and drier than a white flour brownie. However, this was when using a 1:1 replacement. I've also seen suggestions to add a bit of water to moisten things up more, or only use recipes specifically made for this type of flour, since it cooks a bit differently. Regardless, I'm having fun baking with this product, and I plan to learn more about how to utilize it effectively. The brownies were still tasty, it'll just require a little more experimentation to get them 'just right'. It's more nutritious than all-purpose flour, which is already a good start. It's free of clumps and easy to measure, and you receive a lot of it. The only thing I can think of that would make it better for me personally is a finer grind, since it is a bit coarser than the all purpose flour I'm used to. This is my first experience with whole wheat flour, however, so I'm unsure whether that's possible or not.

Made tasty honey wheat bread
Give me whole wheat flour, I am likely to make honey wheat bread. Why? Because it disappears in about 5 minutes every time I make it. All I have to do is whip up some honey butter, stick it on the counter, and wait. The smell will draw in everyone and the bread will disappear. I decided to run a little experiment with this. I made my usual honey wheat bread, with the usual honey butter, except I made it with this. I set it out, and it disappeared. No one said a word about it being different. Then I realized that I didn't even try it. That was brilliant of me. So, I made another loaf and tried it before my family devoured it. I usually cut my wheat bread with some bread flour so it's not so heavy. I did not do that this time, and this ended up fairly similar to my usual wheat bread, even though it was missing the bread flour. This flour is definitely lighter than normal whole wheat flour. The resulting bread is not as dense. Flavor wise, it's pretty similar, but there is a nutty flavor that everyone is talking about. It doesn't taste like eating bread made of nuts or anything, but there is a nutty flavor there. My family proceeded to eat the rest of that loaf in a matter of minutes, so I got one piece of bread total out of two loaves that I made. Safe to say that it was a hit. However, not a single person mentioned it being any different.

An Organic Whole Wheat Flour That Can Be Used To Make Countless Delicious Baked Goods
Organic Kamut Flour By Be Still Farms is an organic whole wheat flour that can be used to make countless delicious baked goods. The 4.8lb resealable bag holds a finely ground, light tan colored flour. Kamut flour is a wheat flour also known as Pharoah's Wheat, King Tut's Wheat, and Prophet's Wheat. Kamut is a large-grained form of wheat that is related to durum wheat. I used the flour to make a no knead loaf of bread. It made a visually pretty and tasty loaf of bread with a delightful texture and a slightly nutty flavor. The flour is a USDA Certified Organic and GMO Free product. The only slight negative that I have is that I wish there was a recipe provided on the product bag. As someone who has not cooked with Kamut before, I would have loved to have a recipe to try. If you are a fan of pumpkin, the manufacturer has a recipe for Baked Pumpkin Oat Bars on their website. But if not, you can always find a recipe online that includes whole wheat flour and use the Kamut flour in its place. There is also a QR Code at the bottom of the bag for a free recipe booklet. Overall, it is a tasty way to add a wholesome grain into our daily diet.
