It took both of us to pull it out of the box (probably because Bruh is weak lol) We opened the vacuum seal bag immediately got excited because it looked so soft. We pulled the blanket out and immediately I knew this blanket would be thick and super soft. It was folded in to fours. Set it in the middle of the bed but Bruh had to flip it over and make sure it was perfectly set on her hospital bed.Setting up: the first plug in was easily located. We connected everything and turned it on. The second plug seemed hidden and took some time to find it tucked inside the blanket which also proves how thick this blanket is or it shows Bruh needs some coffee lolHeating: it has 10 heat settings and up to 12 hr timer. By the time we were done setting up the blanket and I got coffee because at 4:15 am and after all that Bruh might as well stay up.The blanket was warm. Not too hot not too cold just like little bears porridge.Bruh climbs in the bed and cozies down for a short summers nap.Value? Definitely worth what I paid OMG yes (if 1,000,000 people send me a dollar I’ll send you instructions on how to raise 1 million dollars and I’ll buy more of these. Ordered at end of December(12/25/2023 and has already stopped working(3/4/2024). Won't power on at all.When it did work it worked well.Update- company has reached out and refunded the blanket. Will be buying another and updating accordingly.

My husband and I have had a number of electric blankets over the years. Our problem has been that after about 5 years, they die. So we were yet again in the market. The company from whom we purchased our previous blankets seemed to have died along with our blankets. Therefore, we needed to start at ground zero in purchasing our next set.As always, we were overwhelmed by choices. We finally decided on the Westinghouse for several reasons. First, the blanket was described as being a bit heavier than others (Sunbeam). While we realize this may not please everyone, we prefer a heavier blanket. (We do live in Chicago.) But having said that, I'd like to point out that we don't feel smothered by it. The top of the blanket is lovely and silky smooth. The underneath is sherpa texture which is warm and cozy. Just great.The sides and the foot of the blanket have no wires and are actually made for tucking in should we wish to do so. This is the first time I've seen an electric blanket designed with a tucking in feature included. Nicely done, Westinghouse.Another new feature for us is that you can set the controls to turn off at a specific number of hours. For instance, I usually want a warm bed to get into but then it gets too warm during the night. With this blanket, I am able to set the controls so that the blanket goes off after, say, 4 hours rather than my actually having to turn it off in the middle of the night. Of course should I want it to stay on during the entire 10 hour cycle, I can set it at that too.Some have criticized the controls as being a bit too bright and you have to get used to where the buttons on the controls are. These are small and temporary inconveniences. One adjusts quickly.Although we have queen-sized beds, we purchased king-sized blankets because we like the extra drape. As I said initially, this is the best electric blanket we've owned after many years of using them. Go for it!

The controls are light weight and if they fall off your bed they could be cracked or damaged leaving you with an unusable heated blanket. Washing damaged mine -once - I used the delicate cycle and also used gentle heat cycle. I have purchased 3 of these and all 3 failed over the years - within 1 of purchase. Controls are simply dead, no lights on them. The blankets are too expensive for these type of problems. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. Company did not reply to my concern.

Works as expected. Does require two 120v recepticals. LED that displays heat setting is large to see but much to bright for my likings if you like a dark room to sleep. Be nice if setting dimmable or LED only turned on while setting.

Work well

Bought this warm blanket in January 2024 to help me during the cold canadian winter. It worked well during the first usage, but after that wasn't warming anymore. Westinghouse is a great american brand, I was disappointed of the malfunctioning of this blanket after one usage. I had to return it to the seller.
