Moshi iGlaze Hardshell Case for MacBook Pro 13-inch 2019/2018/2017/2016 (Stealth Black)

Before making this purchase I did my homework and looked at a number of reviews from many different sites. The reviews for this case seem to be incredibly mixed many people have a problem with the price tag and how fragile it can be. I have recently bought a macbook pro retina and decided I needed a case to protect it from scratches as I was going to get a sleeve for drop protection. I opted for the moshi because not only does it protect your much loved macbook from scratches it also retains the sleek thin profile and adds very little weight. I would recommend this to people that are looking for peace of mind about scratches. It's incredibly easy to attach and detach this case but a lot of care needs to be taking to ensure the two back clips don't snap of as they are just plastic. + Premium product + Sleek and doesn't add any bulk or noticeable weight to your macbook + Apple logo shines beautifully through the matt finish when the computers on + Rubberised feet are better than the ones on the macbook and when using this case your beloved computer wont slide around your desk at all. + No problems with air flow or heat circulation - The two back clips look somewhat delicate and need extra attention when attaching and detaching case. - Wont give you much drop protection but is thin enough to go into a sleeve

Excellent case, fits the new Mac Book pro retina very well. adds very little bulk and seems like it will last well. Only 4 stars as its very expensive for a few pieces of plastic, but they do seems to be the best 2 peices of plastic you can get to bit the mac book pro.

I've previously had an Incase hard shell dot case on my 2015 15" MacBook Pro, but that was not as thin or flexible, or as nice looking as this case. This case is a translucent case which I think looks fine on my 2018 Space Grey 13" MacBook Pro. My initial impression was that it was excellent case and just what I was looking for, but I later realised that it had a design flaw - the bottom part of the case is an insecure fit and easily comes away. The top part is a very secure fit. It is still a good case if you can accept the above compromise, but I couldn't and I therefore returned it for a refund. I initially gave it five stars, but I now rate it at three stars.

The upper shell always comes off as it doesn't snap to the laptop. Same problem still occur when I ordered a replacement.

Absolutely love this case, worth every penny, been using it for a year and it still looks new. Every other case I have had on my MacBook has cracked or the clips have broken within days/weeks of use. And I am quite careful with my laptop. It is easy enough to get off and on, I take it off about once every 2 weeks, to clean my laptop, I've not found anything to get under the case with prolonged use, I've had other case where it ends up with specs of dust between the laptop and the case, have found this case forms a nice tight seal to prevent that, it is also really lightweight and adds minimum bulk to the laptop. Highly recommend, even though its way more expensive than most other cases, it makes sense to spend a bit extra on what is easily a £2000+ investment.

I was apprehensive in purchasing this case, mostly due to the price tag and that it might add too much bulk to the Macbook Pro Retina 13". It doesn't. You might notice that your arms are raised slightly higher to type because of the rubberised supports at the bottom of the case, but i guess it comes down to personal preferance. The supports are much better than the ones that apple use on their macbook, and are grippier. If you're wondering 'how easy is it to remove?' Very easy, just be careful when unclipping the clips as they potentially are quite delicate. I imagine some people will keep the case on permanently, I would probably be taking it off my macbook when i knew that i would't be relocating my mac very much. With a £40 case you'd expect all the ports to be easily accessible, and they're with plenty of room for all ports, especially for the headphone jack, something I was a little wary of. You would be able to fit an array of all sized jacks in it, so don't worry! I consider myself a pesimist and a perfectionist, and this case hasn't disappointed.

Pros: It's very slimline, and looks very slick. It's a snug fit, and the silky matte finish is quite nice. Cons: Too flimsy and brittle. I had mine for about 6 months, when I had to remove it to get my MBP serviced due to a fault it disintegrated, one of the flimsy back corners simply fell off and realised the base piece had cracks around all of the edges. Considering the price of this case, this was very very disappointing. I've since bought a much cheaper Topideal case and I must say the quality is superior, which is surprising considering you could buy 3 Topideal cases for less than the cost of the Moshi.

zwar ist der Preis ziemlich hoch aber es lohnt sich alle mal. Für alle die Wert auf Qualität, edles Design und hohen Schutz Wert legen, kann ich diese Hülle wärmstens empfehlen. Ich habe mehrere Hüllen verglichen, diese ist die dünnste und leichteste (Gramm) von allen. Das Anbringen war sehr einfach und es besteht auch keine Möglichkeit das Macbook zu beschädigen. Das Apple Zeichen leuchtet durch. Bessere Qualität verdient seinen Wert. Bin vollkommen zufrieden.

Excelente carcasa. Nada que ver con otras marcas y baratas, como el caso de mosiso, que por experiencia, llega a arañar los bordes del ordenador macbook pro. Esta en concreto es de calidad y algo flexible, no es plástico rigido. A la vista está que por el precio lo que estas es pagando garantía por un producto esencial para portátiles que son caros.

Edit: New Review Four months later. I have been using this piece with kid gloves....I never drag my laptop across a surface, always lift it up and sit it down gently. I also do not move my laptop around from place to place, to mostly sits in one spot on my table. So Im very surprised that the cover for one of the legs has just fallen off, I also do not know how or where to contact the company to make this right. In light of this I cannot recommend this product any longer. Old Review: Just got a 13" 2018 MBP in silver and needed something to protect it. This case (I got the clear one) is made to very strict tolerances, fit and finish are on point and material is translucent, tactile and grippy. The mini clips are very unobtrusive and grip the sides well so far. All ports are unobstructed. A bit pricy for my liking, but I couldn't find anything else that would suit me better. All i all a very minimalist protective package that suits the macbook pro's design and aesthetics.

Cette coque est en totale symbiose avec mon mac : - méga fine & ultra légère, - finition de grande qualité, - texture super agréable comme une gomme, - couleur mat parfaite, Effectivement elle coute le double ou le triple dans certain cas par rapport à une coque standard mais quel rendu et quelle qualité franchement, elle ne dénature pas le Mac. NB : Pour ceux qui trouve ça vraiment trop cher je pense qu'il ont oublier pour quelle raison ils ont acheté un mac, alors quitte à se faire plaisir on n'est plus à 60€ près : sinon fallait acheter un PC à 600€.

El producto encaja perfecto en la MacBook Pro 13 (2018 Thunderbolt). El color transparente permite que el color nativo (Gris espacial) resalte aunque sí le agrega un poco de blanco, con un aspecto similar a la MacBook clásica. El plástico se siente un poco delgado comparado con otros productos similares, pero esto permite que el grosor adicional del protector no aumente demasiado el grosor de la MacBook y no aumente el peso de manera significativa. En general, el producto lo siento superior a los de otras marcas comercializadas en las Apple Store.
