Golvery Bluetooth 5.4 Receiver, HiFi Wireless Audio Adapter for Car/Speaker

Few if any other bluetooth receivers in this price range can drive a pillow speaker or low power headphones. This one can. My C. Crane unpowered pillow speaker has great sound. I've been using them for decades. The J207 drives it with plenty of volume and good fidelity. The receiver lives on my headboard, so I leave it plugged in to a charger. The instructions warn that a ground loop blocker might be needed in that configuration, but my setup works fine without it. And it's tiny!

Excellent product. Does what it's supposed to do. Auto connect is fast and works without fail. Sound quality is great. Buttons work perfectly. Bluetooth range is so good that it can be a problem - make sure you remember to turn it off when you get out of the car or it will stay connected and play until the battery dies. This is a compliment, not a critique. I bought a few magnet strips so that I could stick it on my dash (see photo). This is a great value for the money.

This is a 2nd day review. For 2 days this Bluetooth receiver has worked perfectly, and its sound quality is very nice. I very much enjoy using my old wired headphones with podcasts playing from my computer as I move about my house. I just hope the receiver lasts through the one year warranty. I didn't give it 5 stars because it comes without a way to attach it to clothing. It must go in a pocket. Most of these types of devices come with clips. This does not. If this device should ever fail before the 1 year warranty expires, I will update this review.

Pros: 1. Battery very good life. Never tool it down to dead, but got 16 hours out of it. 2. Battery % status reported properly to Win11 and Android 13. 3. If you're a bass head and always have to add extra bass to everything to the point where it clips in the DSP, and you like that, this does it for you! Might be good/Might be bad: Turns on a pairs when connected to power, without pressing the power button. Cons: 1. If you like relatively precise audio reproduction with a flat frequency response, you will instantly notice everything below ~150Hz is up about 6-8db... And they didn't even lower the overall levels of everything by ~7db, so any bass nearing peak, is blown out by that much more. 2. Power on/off and connected/unconnected voice PLAYS AT 100% VOLUME!!! 3. Noticeably worst range vs other BT 5.3 "Class 2" audio receivers I own (4 models from 3 makes), but not by much. This is good for maybe ~20 meters with a good PC-side BT 5.3 antenna line of sight. Others I have can do that without line of sight with my body directly between BT 5.3 antenna. Notes: Tried this on an Android 13 phone, Windows 11, and a Windows 10 PC. The 150Hz or below +8db filter happened on each. What a waste of an almost perfectly good product. Wanted to love this thing for the battery life, but they had to mess with the signal.

I specifically bought this model for increased range, and it really delivered. I rarely write a review, but one day this really surprised me. I had left my phone charging at work one time, and had to visit another one of our buildings about 200 feet away. When i entered the other building I went to reach for my phone and realized I did not have it with me, but since my headphones were still receiving the should without any distortion, I did not realize I did not have my phone with me. Normally distorted sound in my headphones is a key indicator when I leave my phone behind, so this can almost be a bad thing lol. That type of range is not always consistent, I'm not sure what conditions caused that fluke, but within 50 feet I have rarely experienced any signal loss regardless of line of site conditions.

This product has all the qualities that I was looking for in a Bluetooth adapter. The product had excellent sound quality whether I was utilizing it for my home stereo or in the car. The bluetooth 5.3 technology is an upgrade over previous generation booth tooth adapters . The product and the battery have been extremely reliable, not experiencing one issue with the connections to any of my devices. The battery charges quickly and the charge lasts about 20 hours, which means you do not have to worry about charging it throughout your day which I find important. The product was also User Friendly/ Easy to Use, I was able to pair immediately after installation and then it automatically connects every time after that!. Lastly, I found the product to be a value for the price based on all the previous reasons, and because it has done everything I have asked it to do, with no problems, while providing great sound on my home stereo and in my car! Recommend!

I have an older PC speakers without Bluetooth. This device allows me to use my iPhone/laptop connect wirelessly to the speakers and play music. Setup was easy and the sounds are great. I’m still connected when on another floor. I wish the battery is longer than 20 hours. The footprint is very small, which I Iike.

Paired it with iPhone 12. Connected old pair of wired 3.5mm Apple headphones. Was amazed at the quality of sound. Unit is surprisingly small and light. Given my headphones a whole new life. Manufacturers claim 20 hour battery life between charges. Great product so far.

No problems no dropouts sounds good but it's not at line level output like a CD player tape deck. Or fm dab radio separates but very good battery life. Works well for none bluetooth headphones. Only issue when you change the sound to game or music the voice is very loud. Well balanced sound and no interference. Thanks Roger.

Truly a plug and play device. It is about as simple as turning on a light. Highly recommended.

This has dramatically changed bluetooth phone calls from my car; I cannot recommend it enough for that attribute alone and can't complain about its audio performance either. My previous bluetooth FM transmitter was equally good for audio performance but was terrible for phone calls.
