That little irritating rise in threasholds that we all have, it nice to have, especially if you go barefoot a lot. Nice and smooth. We originally bought it to help our elderly family member push her rolling walker over the threashold, and for that purpose, again, worked great and I highly recommend it for anyone with an elderly or challenged person in the home. Very helpful. After the fact though, we kept it in place because it's more comfortable! It comes in different heights to depending on your threashold rise.

This ramp has the right dimensions, and the right angle/grade to allow a person to easily roll up an incline in a 5-roller office chair or wheelchair. It stays in place without adhesive on a hardwood floor due to the rubber-wood friction. Unlike other similar products, it does not have a strong odor, even when being cut to a custom length.

I purchased this item based on the positive reviews posted by other customers; especially the smell and ease of assembly factors. This threshold is perfect for my needs, and I agree that it comes out of the box, ready to install, and has no discernable odor. The quality is excellent and the solid rubber construction makes it able to handle heavier weights. The doorway I needed to bridge is a narrow (28") pocket door into the kitchen. Using just a sharp kitchen knife, I was able to easily cut through the threshold to make it fit the doorway. I also appreciate that It doesn't need to be fastened to the floor to be effective for usage of utility cart, a rollator walker or a knee scooter. I have a 2 inch difference between my kitchen and dining room. The transition that was there, previously, was too short and steep for my ecovacs vacuum robot. So I took it out and replaced it with this rubber threshold. Problem solved. It's wide enough with a slight slop the robot can easily maneuver. The only issue is that my tile floor was not cut properly so I have a gap. I plan on adding a floor transition to bridge the gap.It was hard to cut with a simple box cutter. Best you can do is try to go as deep as you can them fold it open to finish the rest. I only needed a 28 length so that worked for me, I was able to fold it. It has a series of grooves so expect dirt to collect in there. It's very heavy, so I did not need to glue it to the floor either. It stays in place.I am happy with the product, it serves its purpose, and now I can have my kitchen floor cleaned everyday! A good purchase.

I like how heavy they are very thick rubber super sturdy I got two to get over the shower walk-in 3 in left of the shower. Not that I'm old but I had a shower put in and it didn't reach the old tile on the back floor there was a 2 inch Gap now so I got this actually two of these to hide the fact that the tile is not going to the shower I know I'm lazy but it was a quick fix and it looks great and I'll probably use it for a wheelchair in the future lol plus might be turning it into a rental.

Dimensions were spot on. I use it as a guard on the inside of our sliding glass door, and it fit perfect. It doesn't slide at all, and doubles as a small mat for shoe dirt when walking in. Very strong material.
