Vent-a-matic Rotary Ventilator 106 with Stormguard Model C106S

Fitted nice and easily, I think the packaging doubled as a template if i remember correctly. StormGuard is nice to have, optional if you use it of not, but costs more to buy separately to add to the model without than this model does with it. Sliding shut-off sections to stop 99% of the airflow should you wish is useful All in all a good product, functions exactly as it should, and does what it says in the tin, only negative is for a non powered fan with no complicated parts or materials, it strikes me as perhaps £5 or so cheaper would be a better market price, but none the less, a good product.

As it was just for an outhouse I didn't bother to rtn the item that had a perspex crack in it. I plastic welded it instead. However it is clear that the only reason for this is poor handling and entirely inadequate packaging for the postal system. At least one other customer has remarked on the same fault. Pretty unacceptable really. Consequently it gets a lowered rating. Had it arrived in one piece rating would have been ***** across the board.

Have just received this item and it is fab. Went to a local supplier to ask about getting vent like these and they were twice the price. Some suppliers didnt even know what we were talking about. Finally a solution to venting an old property with fixed windows in places. Great quality, would recommend the storm shield.

Sturdy, well made fan. Ideal for sheds and summerhouse. Easy to fit/install. Good value. Functions well and easy to operate by pulling on the cord.

the item was easy to fit. the new window is in place. i am now only awaiting the screws which i never received from you, the the window will be finished at last.

Some unusual kind of screw head, so I have been unable to remove the front, so it will fit through the hole in my window glass. I didn't get around to installing for a few few weeks after purchase, to replace my old one - so I didn't notice, till it was too late to return it. I have a screw driver with many different fittings, but none will do the job. I will hopefully be able to purchase a suitable screw driver to remove the front - but this is more expense, or worse case scenario, I have wasted £30 on a product I cannot use. There is no warning that this is a very "non standard" fitting - why use a screw with such an unusual head and not warn you or provide a device for opening it?! I feel that is not only senseless and unethical.

I finally figured out how to install in my window in a laundry area, but the installation instructions were practically non-existent. It is in and working fairly well.
