Great Sound
This system is pretty amazing. Easy to transport, not being too heavy or shaped in a way that makes it difficult to maneuver.Setup is super quick, as the pieces install in seconds. I've found that the app works well on my iPhone, and it's great for making adjustments in realtime or testing the sound from different parts of the room.Lots EQ and FX options to sift through. Once you get used to the menu system, it's pretty straight-forward.If you are streaming music over Bluetooth from your phone, be aware that your phone volume and the Bluetooth channel on the Eon have independent controls from each other, so make sure you set your levels right so you can adjust the levels from your phone's volume up/down buttons instead digging into the app. Between -30 and -20 db is what I recommend for the Bluetooth channel, then leave it there.My one complaint is really more a concern that the column connection points won't last forever and it may begin to wobble over time.

Lasted one week; would not turn on.
DisappointmentExcellent sound, compact, and easy to set up…BUT…one week after getting it, it wouldn’t stay powered on, even though it was plugged directly into the wall outlet. I turned it on several times and it would shut down within 10 seconds. It was not running off the battery so it didn’t make any sense why it wouldn’t stay on. I returned it. Imagine being at a show and all the guests are there to listen to the music and your whole event is ruined because the sound system doesn’t work. No one would hire me and I would get the bad reviews. I spent “$2200” with tax, and it lasted one week. I watched You Tube and a man posted the same issue. He had a show in a few days and had to scramble to arrange alternative equipment.

Batería no dura más de un 1 año 1/2
Es un equipo con un sonido de calidad, pero siempre estuve expectante a la vida util de la batería. Ya que la batería la he visto a precios muy elevados. Quise cambiar únicamente la pila interna pero este modelo no está a la venta por ningún sitio. Te están obligando a comprar la extensión con pila hecha exclusivamente por JBL a costos muy elevados.

Not user friendly at all
Too much bouncing around when editing. Too much delay in time between edits. Turn knob wait turn knob wait. Not my thing. App is useless.Unit takes forever to fire up. Makes you wonder if it even will. Don’t need the stress :). Bought the ev 30m. Great choice. A great all around unit compared to the JBL mk2. Went the extra bit because I needed battery for one gig for where I’m set up. That was original reason for mk2. Purchased an everse 8. Perfect for small gigs. All in all. Ev was the way to go.
