I bought this for myself (I'm 69) and very much enjoyed making it. The instructions are very well written but also keep the building process reasonably challenging; a couple of times I had to rework but generally it was fairly straightforward. I did find that a couple of pieces were missing so contacted Lego directly, through their website, and they sent them to me foc. This is a well designed model which closely resembles the real thing. Recommended.

I loved Lego as a kid and a few years ago my wife surprised me with a technical set. I've been into it ever since and when she asked what I wanted for Christmas this year I asked for the Mars Rover. I already have the Saturn V, Lunar Lander, Shuttle and Space Station so this pretty much completes the set. It's a smaller kit than most of them, but I found it a very enjoyable build as it's really quite technical and there's not a lot of repetition. I'm yet to have a set that was missing any parts and this was no different, as usual there were maybe two or three dozen extra of the smaller parts, which seems to be common with most of the sets I've had. My wife was going to pay the standard price from the Lego store of £85 when I spotted it on Amazon at just £60, a bargain.

I got this as an advent calendar gift for my husband and he totally loved it. He thanked me so many times and said it was even better than his Christmas presents. He loves space and he loved building it. Definitely not just for children.

I really enjoyed building this. The engineering and the design are outstanding. There are many technical parts and functions inside the Rover, that are powered by cogs and wheels connected to control levers. I’d say it’s quite easy to build, nothing was particularly difficult. The instructions are very clear throughout. A little tip, if you are struggling with some of the connectors, just give them a little nip with your teeth and they will slot in a lot easier. It didn’t take me that long to build this, three days in total, around 2 to 3 hours per day. I think the price is worth it, however it is still expensive for less than 10 hours of build time.

This kit is difficult to assemble even for experienced model makers. I found it quite challenging. Many parts are almost identical so i needed a magnifying glass and bright light to tell the difference. Took about two weeks. Steering does not respond properly but only a minor issue. Instructions are excellent but pay very close attention at every step as disassembly to correct a mistake or omission is nearly impossible. Make sure you’ve done everything in one step (over 400 steps) before moving to the next step! Good luck!

This was bought as a birthday gift for my 14 year old granddaughter, who not only loves building Lego with her father, but loves all space related things too. They built it over two days, unfortunately dropping it twice and having to rebuild it, but that gave them a better understanding of the working parts. As it took two days to build, I would say it was value for the money, some parts were more confusing than others to assemble, but that is down to the very small pieces for the intricate details. Overall it looks amazing and is fascinating.

Good value for money and has a really interesting build/design to it. Feels solid, works well, and looks a bit different in a good way. Happy with the purchase overall.

Good Lego product.

Sencillamente espectacular. Montado por niño de unos 11 años, le llevó unos días y alguna ayuda puntual, pero el manual es muy claro y completo. El resultado es el que se espera: un Perseverance de lego. La única pega que le pondría es que parece difícil de desmontar, por lo que la rejugabilidad se queda algo limitada.
