anyone else having problems using this on an Induction hob. Seems a bit interrmitent and doesn't like the bigger zones

Haven't had any problems, I have to say. I've found it to be a really good pan and I always put it on the biggest hob zone.

can this frying pan go in the oven?

Yes; use it in the oven many times, no problem. Great for roasties that you start on the hob, or sausages. The handle does stay hot for a long time.

Is this suitable to use in AGA cooking plates?

I don't see why not. The company say they can be used on any hob. They are very sturdy pans and I have never had any food stick to the bottom. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't work on an Aga. I have a frying pan and two saucepans of this type and they are the best I have ever had!
