I have no even tried it yet because I have Ragdoll cats and not sure if it make the tangles better or worse as they have gorgeous coats. But once I do I’ll come back to do a more fair review.

It was advertised for cats as well as dogs. My elderly cat doesnt want anything wet sprayed on her, but this product works on her cottony hair that mats easily. Good product.

Smells great and really does work. This arrived opened in the package and was ultimately a big mess but had it not been opened, it would’ve been great.

What upset me is I thought I was buying an all natural product. As I'm reading the label on this bottle of detangler I'm about to spray on my cat , to help with her mats...it says do not ingest. Could be harmful to humans and pets if ingested.Not sure if they know it, but cats spend most their time awake, grooming and ingesting their fur. ! So why make a topical spray for a cats coat and then say just make sure they don't lick their fur n ingest it. ?? I emailed them and was told she wasn't sure , would check n get back to me. She did . She told me maybe spray it on and keep an eye on her and don't let her lick herself then rinse it off . Of course I'd brush her in-between . But if you are like me you are looking for a safe product to spray on and leave and hopefully aide in the brushing process later? This isn't my first choice. Personally it's like having an option for tearfree shampoo??? It's out there , why wouldn't I always choose that? No, no give me the one that burns their eyes and makes them cry! Come on . So my opinion is if it says unsafe for humans or pets to ingest, then don't buy it if you intend to use it on or around your pets.

My friends have four Ragdoll cats, and one of them refuses to be groomed! This spray has been a lifesaver for them to help her when they have to get after her matted fur.

I used this on my Maine Coon and it does not really help a thick matted hair. Also, it seems to bother him and he has a few red spots now so I will not use it further. I need to check with my vet first and probably should have done that first before purchasing.

Worked great to loosen up mats on my cat

Minimally helpful in removing matted fur. Then it leaves a crusty residue on the fur making it more difficult to go back & starting dematting again.
