BLACK+DECKER 26 lb. Capacity Ice Maker

This little guy makes a lot of ice in a short amount of time. It is easy to use and reasonably priced. I like the self cleaning feature as well. Just use the 50 /50 mix of vinegar and water and it does a pretty good job of staying free of hard water deposits and mold. In less than an hour I can fill a one gallon freezer bag with ice bullets. It's not quiet but I didn't expect it to be. I have recommended this model to friends.

Our refrigerator broke and we got tired of using ice cube trays. A friend recommended we buy an ice maker (I didn't know they existed). After doing a product research, we decided on the Black & Decker due to its many features; i.e., price, variety of different size ice cubes, and brand name (Black & Decker). In about four (4) hours we have enough ice cubes to replenish our refrigerator's ice cube bin; we now have enough ice cubes to last approximately three (3) days. Please note the ice cubes are slightly wet when you take them out of the ice maker - the ice maker does not have a separate refrigeration compartment for the produced ice cubes. No problem; just put the ice cubes in a 1 quart zip lock bag and then into freezer for a couple of hours. This freezes the ice cubes; some will freeze together. After a couple of hours, take the zip lock bag and gently hit the bag against a hard surface to separate the ice cubes; I use a met tenderizer hammer to separate the cubes. Dump them into the refrigerator's ice maker ice cube bin and you are ready to use your refrigerator's in door ice cube dispenser. You can produce three (3) different size of cubes; we use the medium sized so our in-door ice dispenser will work correctly.

The icemaker in my Frigidaire doesn't work (for the 4th time in 5 years). Lines are frozen or something, but the dispensing works fine. I bought this machine because paying another $100 home visit was not an option. I really like this little icemaker - it makes a batch in 9 minutes as promised AND the medium size ice cubes fit into my refrigerator dispenser. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the cubes have holes in them and melt faster than "normal" ones. And the machine doesn't have an ice cold storage bin. You have to move the cubes into the freezer. (You could do 2 or 3 batches before serious melting occurs.) However, that is way less trouble than filling ice cube trays!

These little machine really works fine and cool since bought it few weeks ago.It's quite portable and not too bulky.From filling up the water to producing a nice small,medium or large ice,been tested and it's awesome!When the ice is full till overflowing the inner tray,it stop automatically and generate a beeping sound and when the ice start melting or getting lesser,it will start making ice again regardless of time.of course there's a timer setting too but i prefer not to use it.Wanna see how far it can go. Hope these portable machine can last 2 or 3 years like the other brand i own before.Fully recommended and with the reasonable price,don't expect more of it.You will loves these machine.

It did make ice but good grief the beeping is insane! STOP BEEPING!!!!!!! AND you can’t turn the beeping off! Then after just at the 1 year mark it stopped making ice altogether. It goes through ALL of the motions but produces ZERO ice when it drops into the bucket. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone else.

I did not have an ice maker in my new apartment, so this worked great for a while. Unfortunately, it has stopped making ice after 6 months. It turns on, but clearly is not running

Works great. I never run out of ice anymore when I have company over. My friends love it. It is less than 15" deep for easy counter placement. Easy to drain and fill. It would be nice if the silicon plug were better attached to the cap, but they provide an extra one just in case you lose it. If I were to buy again, I'd stay with this same model.

Great product, but the drain plug is really small and has two parts. Try as I could to keep track of it, I eventually lost it. I ended up just plugging the drain with a 3/8 inch dowel rod. Does not leak at all, and I can get another one if I lose it.

No vale la pena, hace hielos muy pequeños, del tamaño de 2cm más/menos aun seleccionando la opción de hielos grandes. Producción lenta.
