Very good - just want I wanted!
This is a really good lanolin product. My wife has previously purchased a low odour lanolin that was manufactured in the US which was also very good.Whilst this one does have a slight smell vs the US product, it is also a tad easier to work with. It works as you would expect. I mainly use if to manage my children's eczema. Natural emollients are so much better for managing eczema than creams that contain a load of preservatives.500g goes a long way as you don't need to apply a huge amount for it to be effective. My only gripe was that the price went down by a £1 a few days after I bought the product!

Great for chafing. Cheaper than the small tubes
This is a lot for your money. Very useful for chafing (e.g. Wetsuit rash). All natural unlike vaseline. This stays on better too. Also good for nappy rash - gives a good protective layer.

It's 500g of anhydrous lanolin!
I'm glad this is pure lanolin as advertised and isn't scented or perfumed or intended for use as a hair conditioner (as with other "pure" lanolin products I've seen). I use it for greasing brass instrument tuning slides so it would be weird if it smelt nice.

Home-made hand cream
It's thick and sticky presumably fairly pure lanolin. It needs to be diluted and thoroughly mixed eg with baby oil (parafin oil) to make it suitable as hand cream. I also mix it with "Sudocream" to improve the odour and almond oil as a thinner.

Good value and almost odourless
Considering the price of proprietary creams, most of which are emulsions and therefore mostly water, this is very good value for money. I originally bought this so that the students at the college where I work could make an emulsion hand cream with it; along with other ingredients, this was successful. However, without preservatives it would be prone to mold growth. Another important point, some people are allergic to Lanolin, so take care.I have been using it neat to treat the dry, itchy skin on my legs; it works! It's rather thick so it takes a while to rub in.

Amazing
Amazing! I've already recommended to friends and family. very good for.crack heels's. Dry lips. Dry ends of your hair. The water in my area is very hard and causing a lot dryness and this helps with dryness and with my eczema on my own personal choice. I haven't had side effects. This does have a scent which I can bare with. For me it's been immediate effects in results. I'm Happy that ive stumble across this. And turn out to be a great buy.! Merci!

Great hair softener
Great for use in my DIY hair products. Keeps my natural afrocaribbean hair soft, well moisturised and very easy to manage. No tangles.
