Received two orders-- one is silver, one was brass-- and both are stunning in person. Beautiful craftsmanship and a good wick.I'm using these in my house as a redundancy for power that frequently fails in the mountains, and was looking for something a little more permanent and robust in construction, which would go well with the aesthetic of my 124 year-old home. This ticks all of the boxes. Looking forward to seeing how these work in the event that I need a lamp. Size-wise, they look like they would probably take care of you through several dinners, or lighting 6-11 pm (one evening) if you're using soot-free paraffin (which I have always gone for in lieu of kerosene).

Keep in mind. I heat my house with these - I have 24. I bought these for my bedroom.From the images here, I noticed they look exactly like the Lamplight Farms lamps I bought 20 years ago before they outsourced everything to China. Packaging was good, only ONE if the three globes broke in shipping.Wicks: The wicks that came with them are very thick and take QUITE a bit of time to trim and make burn right. Honestly, I just replaced all three wicks with a thinner type that I have laying around. They're easier to cut and make burn right.The Reflective 'circle' thingies: Currently, I have five wall-hanger lamps. All Lamplight Farms brand - before outsourcing everything to China. They all sit on a nail in the wall very well. The reflective plates on these ones are pretty thick which means you need the nail to stick out of the wall considerably further (about 1/2" more) than the older models. The bottom of the hanging part is about 1/4" away from the wall instead of sitting flush like older US made models. The weight is taken by the reflective plates. This makes them more apt to fall over - which is a bad thing. I will most likely just remove the plates for safety sake, after all, they really dont reflect much compared to without hanging on a white wall.SAFETY ISSUE: DO THIS OR YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS (and by problems I mean they'll fall and cause a fire). The clips from the hanger that wrap around the glass part need to be bend inward (towards each other). BEFORE you fill bend them and put the lamp on the hanger and give it a good shake. If it stays put you're good - if not - bend them more and repeat until it doesnt fall off!These are pretty good for 'Chinese Garbage'. I'd recommend them, but be patient and BE SAFE!

The product was beautiful. I had only had it on the wall a few days and my son in law bumped one of the lanterns and broke the glass.I emailed the seller to see if I could buy a replacement and never heard anything back. That is, until today when a replacement showed up in the mail!This seller really went above and beyond!

The top metal part came detached from the bottom metal part. I had to solder it on and it’s still not working great. Also, come flickers as bad as a strobe light. I know how to use a lamp and how to cut the wick and the flame is still really unstable.
