The media could not be loaded.  I highly recommend this LED color changing pool light! Prior to purchasing I read the reviews that the remote did not work if your light housing was surrounded by metal. I would like to point out that I have an in-ground pool with a metal housing for my pool light and the remote works great.Upon installation, the only upgrade I had to make, was changing my prior switch from a dimmer switch to a standard light switch, which cost me $7.99 at Ace Hardware. Since this light DOES NOT work with a dimmer switch!If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to upgrade your pool’s look, this is definitely the way to go! I would buy again... but I only have 1 pool lol!

nice bulb. fits perfectly. led color lights changing, light show is pretty good. remote is difficult to operate as the light is submerged in the pool. you have stand directly above the light on the pool for remote to function. great price compared to many other bulbs.

Updated:After battery replacement light worked well. Installed easy.I am waiting to upgrade rating once I can use the remote for the light. Unfortunately battery was in the remote backwards. Battery is only reading .23 volts of the 12v it's supposed to be. 🙄😢Not sure the light and remote work together yet. For this price I expect something simple like a battery to be 100 %.

The light looks good but I have to control it from my pools light controller. The remote only worked like 3 time so we went out and bought new batteries for it thinking maybe the battery was low. We found that even after the new battery the remote only works sometimes and only if we stand directly over the light and point the antenna and a certain spot on my pool deck. This is kind of annoying so we just control it from our pool controller.

Update 8/27: Chaning my review from 2 to 5 stars. Tony from Customer Service emailed me, based on my review, and helped me figure out the issue. Light works great now and I can even turn on/off from inside the house! Tony even offered me a refund if we couldn't get it to work (great customer service). 8/26: Light looks good but remote never worked (even bought new batteries). Didn't install until today, 6 days after my return window closed, and now I have a light that changes color but I can't use the remote and have to walk all the way across the yard to turn the light on/off...remote was the whole reason I bought this one.

The light works fine but as others have reported the remote SUCKS! When I had the light out on the pool deck without the lens in place, the remote worked fine. Once the lens was attached and the light was installed back in the pool, the remote will not work. ALSO, don’t forget to order a new gasket. A new gasket at the local pool supply cost $40, on Amazon, two for $15. The equivalent light at the local pool supply cost $250.

I bought this bulb and a new light fixture for my pool. Total was under $300, and it's just as good as the $700 color light fixtures. The remote works well; I can even turn the pool light on from inside my house. Colors are beautiful, and there are options for one color or changing colors at different speeds. I love it!
