A great giggle!
Absolutely love this book!As a drama teacher, I'm always looking for new stories, and desperately hoping for something a bit different! This book is just that, with the wolf as the main character in the story he is fed up of his fairytale, and goes looking for a new one to be in. Fit of giggles begin as the wolf ends up in a ballgown and glass slippers in Cinderella, and being kissed by the prince in sleeping beauty.My kids loved this story, especially joining in with parts of the text easily recognisable - such as "Fee, fi, fo, fum" and as the characters ultimately descend into chaos. A great story for acting out with a group, or for reading one to one - highly recommend.

A brilliant retelling of the stories we all love
Really well written and funny tale.A completely new take on the familiar stories we all know and love. My 4 year old loved it and giggled out loud as we listened to what the wolf did next!

A lovely story. I use this at school with 5 year olds. The children love the story and enjoy the chaos the wolf causes. It causes lots of laughs and is a great story to share aloud.

The Big Bad Wolf is fed up with having to blow down the Three Little Pigs’ houses. He is completely out of huff and puff, and fed up of ending up in a pot of hot water, so he decides to go and find a nice relaxing fairy tale to live in for a change. Of course, his attempts to find somewhere restful to live don’t go quite as planned, but this is a fun story with lots of favourite fairy tale characters for children to recognise. The Big Bad Wolf discovers that the grass is not always greener on the other side and children will love the mayhem he causes in other fairy tales. If your child enjoys this, they will also like, “The Great Fairy Tale Disaster,” by the same author/illustrator.

Five star for one of my favorite types of drawn illustrations. Three star for using partial already told stories. It was creative to change the wolf by changing his lifestyle. But the book lacked something to make me like it. I would have rather it didn't hop the wolf thru so fast.
