I bought this for my dogs crate. My dog is a GSD mixed with a Bernese Mnt Dog, so he's a big bot. This mat adds comfort for him when he wants to lay in his crate. The mat is a fluffy appearance, the size fits out XL crate perfectly, the mat is on the thinner side, so it's not super cushy or like memory foam. Good value, I'm happy with my purchase.

This crate mat is cute and super soft; it's a bit on the thin side but is better quality than expected for the price and the fact that it's so thin will make it much easier to wash. The non-slip bottom is a great touch since my puppy loves trying to dig underneath it in the crate.

I ordered this dog mat for the crate that I had ordered previously. I barely opened up the dog mat/bed today (9-3-2024) and was surprised at how thin this mat/bed really is! I'm somewhat disappointed in that the mat/bed isn't as thick as I wanted it to be. The only "pro" to having this mat/bed is that it's machine washable. I'll still have to order a much thicker mat for the dog that I adopted last Saturday, as she is a senior husky and is very underweight! I want her to be comfortable when she lies down & am afraid this mat/bed will be way too thin for her to be comfortable.** Bottom line regarding this mat/bed - don't waste you money if you want something way thicker that this mat/bed! ** I will also have to get another much thicker mat/bed for her now! **Amazon - you're starting to slip with your descriptions of the products you sell! I used to be really happy with ordering from you and knowing what to expect! Now I'm having second thoughts! Please do better!

I had 2 crate mats in my Amazon cart and ultimately chose this one as is was “thicker “.The description states it is 1.5 inches thick and I can assure you it is NOT. It is totally flat. The fluff standing up makes it about 1/4 inch thick at most. Other reviewers have also stated the same issues about it not being thick.Unfortunately it is false advertising.It’s more like a thin fluffy blanket with useless grips on one side.

We used this as a crate mat for our dog. It fit well, was very soft and cozy, and easy to wash. Unfortunately, he ripped open one of the seams and tore a lot of the stuffing out within a few days--so, if you have a dog that's a super chewer or is still crate training and a little anxious, you might need to pick something a little tougher.
