Black Velvet - probably the Finest brushes ever created.....
Brushes arrived promptly in their own plastic case. These are the finest brushes I have ever had the pleasure of using with watercolour. They feel comfortable in the hand and the brushes make one want to get painting straight away. Every line is smooth and precise, even with the one inch brush fine detail is still possible. Whoever designed the Black Velvet must have been a genius. One thing is for sure, they understand watercolour painting in greatest detail and know how an artist would wish their brush to perform to enable the best artwork possible to the best of the artists abilities. Watercolour is a difficult medium, but with these brushes one feels more confident and able to really get to grips with it and be successful and happy with the work produced. With these three brushes, l do not need any further equipment [apart from colour and water] to paint happily for many, many years to come.

Fabulous brushes
As an experienced watercolour painter, I was really pleased with these, the amount of liquid they hold, the lovely point held by the bristles, the softness and the overall quality.

saw these on line with a guy called Steve (mind of watercolour)i hesitated a bit at the price but a bonus from work swayed me to buy themlove the way they keep the point and the amount of water they holdthouroughly enjoy using them and have put all other brushes away

The overall quality
Love these brushes except the no 4.... look at my photo. The black ’coating has fallen off and that is not ok with these expensive brushes not even used so much!

Damaged tip Oval brush
The tip of the Oval brush was damaged on arrival. It would otherwise be a nice brush. I was very excited about those brushes and thought they will last. Will return it.

Shocked
Saw these on "mind of watercolor " YouTube looked amazing. All reviews are U.S. so followed link to Amazon.com.Price $46.01 incl shipping (in U.S.). That is less than £30 at the time of writing! So I won't be giving these a go.
