Hi have been recommended by your website to buy the other puller kits but that slide hammer won’t fit so how am I supposed to use the puller where is the adapter or otherwise please take it back

Pilot bearing removal success. Engine 4.9 inline 6 cylinder is in a 1994 Ford F250, the pilot bearing needed to be replaced and this tool did the trick. However, you can see in the pics that the tool was too big to fit inside of the bearing with the rollers still intact. Look at the pic with the new bearing as a example. I beat the dickens out of the old bearing to remove the rollers and plucked out pieces with needle vice grips and screw drivers. Then I could get the Oemtool 27059 inside for a good bite into the grooves on the back side of what was left of the bearing. Using a 7.5 lb weight and a Reese 2" ball that has a 3/4 stud with 18 threads per inch all assembled gave me a mock slide hammer. 3- hits and the bearing came out. Good money spent.

I had a pilot bushing comfortably resting in its home for 31 years, it did not want to come out. I borrowed a tool from the local parts store, no joy. Tried the trick of packing bread in the cavity and pounding with a bolt; yes, that's really a thing. That didn't work either. After buying this tool, I installed it on my slide hammer and after 3 or 4 whacks, out it came. I couldn't be happier. Too bad I'll probably never use it again, but it was worth every penny. Note that the threaded bore of the tool has two different thread diameters, my slide hammer was the smaller diameter and so I had to insert the hammer shaft in far enough to find the threads. I didn't realize this at first and had a moment of panic. Reading the description on the product page explains this, fyi.
