Our son's caregiver used this in our home to make our son's pouches. She was impressed how the machine did everything from steaming to pureeing the food. It was easy to make wholesome food for my son with ingredients I was fully aware of. The directions are good and it is easy to use. Definitely recommend and it would make a good gift.

I had been waiting to do my review until I could find this little silicone piece that I have finally decided is lost for good. I think there was a piece that could seal the side of the blender cup so it doesn't spill when it is blending. Anyway, it doesnt make a huge mess, but it is annoying and now I'll never be able to keep it from happening. Make sure to keep all the tiny pieces that come with this blender.Other than that, it nicely puree's and it is a very compact unit that fits into a small cupboard. The included storage cups are a great idea for if you make too much or prep for a few days.

I really liked this food processor/steamer at first but then it just got to be far too cumbersome. It works well, but there are a number of small pieces that need to be changed out or used in very specific ways to switch from steaming to purée-ing and back. Otherwise the unit can break, or there’s purée juice on the counter… it’s not a huge mess but it’s enough to be needlessly frustrating for a tired parent (me) at 7pm. I don’t need another mess to clean up and I don’t need 100 or even 5 small pieces to keep track of through washing and bouncing around my kitchen.

Works very well! I love making my own baby food, and this makes it so much simpler than boiling/steaming the veggies in a pan, then having to blend them up in a blender.

This is great if you need to make puréed food at home. I like that I can add exactly what I want with no added ingredients. You steam the food and then blend it in one cup. It is much easier wash one device than a pot, spoons, blender, ect. I don’t have a toddler, but I have many baby animals that need a puréed diet. I haven’t found any jars of liver and chicken broth baby food for opossums. This makes it much easier for me. Basically you set it and it does everything. The food turns out smooth. I haven’t had an issue with clumps. I wish this had been around when my son was a baby. It comes with containers to store the foods and even plastic pouches that are similar to the squeeze pouches you see in grocery stores. It saves me a lot of time.

I got this for my daughter in law so that she will be able to make homemade baby food once the baby is old enough.We did try it with making a small thing of fruit and it was great. It blended the strawberries, raspberries and bananas very well and it tasted great.We realized that she doesnt have to use it just to make baby food, she can also use it to make a healthy snack for herself. That makes it even better.The instructions were a little difficult to understand but we figured it out and it works great. It blends easily and is easy to clean and store. You can cold blend, steam blend or what ever you want. It is cool to get the storage containers and the bags, but the bags were a little messy, I guess once you get the hang of it it isnt so bad, but boy that first time we made a mess LOL.This is a great baby gift item, item for yourself, if you are a caregiver or whoever. It is worth getting and seeing all of the healthy, tasty, easy to make baby food you can make.
