The sealer has an adjustable heat setting for different packet thicknesses and automatic shut off so that you don't have to count X seconds in your head and hope for the best.Its ridiculously easy to use and provides a nice, strong seal roughly 2mm wide. The seal is also made through a gauze, so you end up with a neat cross-hatch instead of a single line.My only criticism is around the packaging. The spring on the arm can cause it to pop out of its main box during transit. Purely aesthetic, but a pain in the arse if it going to get bumped by other packages.

I initially bought two cheap ones made from plastic, one of which failed right away.So I decided to buy something a bit more substantial and when I saw this I couldn't get over how cheap it was. It is of heavy construction and looks and feels like something a professional would buy.It seals loads of different types of bags making this a must buy if you are looking for a sealer. You really will be surprised at the quality considering the price of it. Don't waste your money on a cheaper version made from plastic, buy this all metal version..

Only bought this in April and didn't even use it for the first couple of months. I have used it 3 times since and on the third occasion it stopped working. I contacted the seller last week, still awaiting a response. Looked second-hand when it arrived, think I may have been right! Definitely don't buy. You can get these on most packaging sites for a little more with guarantee of support for at least a year if something goes wrong.

Not an exactly super-impressive product. The melt strip is about 2mm wide. It is very difficult to maintain the correct temperature of the sealer as it cools a lot after it being employed. You have to really test your way to see what is teh right temerature for each type of bag you are sealing.No help from the included manual. To give you an example. Point 2 starts exactly like this: "2. The aircraft must be equipped with a high sensitivity for use in the electric shock protection device power outlet". Anyone who has bought the product and has still got the manual can verify I have quoted correctly.

I use this to seal Mylar style bags, it work first time, every time. Really good
