Stanley Spares 112700 Kit 1 Standard Bailey Plane Handles Kit

The handles were good but the 4 'nuts' were all of the same thread type. There should have been 2 of each (fine and course). Fortunately I had retained the original so was able to use that. Quality control somewhat lacking.

Waited a while to review to ensure accurate description. No issue at all with thesecspares,robust and identical replacements for original parts

Prompt delivery. Didn’t want to dispose of my trusted 40 year old plane just because main handle and fixings needed replacing - glad I found these replacements on-line at a very reasonable price.

Bought for my old Stanley N04, fitted well enough, but did need the rough edges taking off. A lot cheaper than the rosewood ones i was looking at and will probably do the same job.

I used this kit to repair my 40 year old smoothing plane, the handle retaining bolt thread had worn. The kit contains two bolts, imperial and metric threads to fit all Stanley planes. The plastic handle does have a raised seam but would be easy to fix. My order arrived super quick. All told, a good product. Saved me scrapping an otherwise good tool.
