smoking hot, crystal clearsound..... 90 min then 2nd set, disc 3 dark star>he's gone>wharf rat>truckin, sugar mag. disc 4 has dickey betts, butch trucks, and Merl sanders!!!! Replacement copies came quickly from Amazon. Amazing service. New disc's had similar difficulties. Bought cleaning disc. Cleaned each individual disc multiple times and spent hours trying to get them to play. What I could hear was great. Anyway, after cleaning my lazer optics, now other disc's won't play. I played them on my much more expensive Blu-ray player. No skips or jumps. But my cheap, 29 year old CD player was much warmer and full dynamics. New CD is needed.

Historic, marathon show. Sounds lovely…better than most releases from this era. If you had to choose one early 70’s Dead CD, this would be it.

Of all my live albums by the Grateful Dead this one ranks as one of my favorites. All discs played well I would recommend purchasing anti static protective sleeves to protect against scratches but overall great performance

There are countless live Grateful Dead albums. This one captures them at an inspiring time playing with unusual zest. This one has a nice ebb and flow to it that makes the extra long set zip by. The last disc sees some of the Allman Bros Band sitting in with fine results. Especially tasty are the time Dicky Betts and Jerry Garcia play harmony lead which was a Allman Bros trademark. This reaches a place the Dead rarely went but Phil Lesh did years later with Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring in his quintet in the early 2000s.

Ordered July 5,2023, beautiful cds WONT PLAY on two Sony, one Boze, or two laptops!!! Ordered replacement, was sent out quickly.Second cds WONT PLAY EITHER!!! As other customers have stated and upon online investigation, this is a massive universal manufacturing defect!!! What a SHAME!!! This shouldn’t have ever happened to this much anticipated rare Grateful Dead four-disc release!!! Obviously abysmal quality control and this is highly irresponsible!!! Sent back both and Amazon.ca is taking their sweet, helluva long time issuing my refund of $53.00 and change. As of August 25, 2023 Refund is STILL NOT returned to my card despite my orders of literally hundreds of dollars EACH month from Amazon.ca!!!! I am VERY disappointed, and HUGELY angry and very unimpressed!!!!Since this is such a massive problem, WHEN WILL the MANUFACTURER reissue a perfect quality, playable reissue of this 4 cd set????? DO NOT BUY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY as FAR TOO MANY CUSTOMERS LIKE ME HAVE BEEN BURNED TWICE!!!! Too bad I have no choice to leave a less than ZERO rating both for the faulty cds and the inordinate amount of time to receive my full refund!!!! When will it be issued AS PROMISED??????? 👎🏼😳😤🤬

Tra i concerti dal vivo che ho trovato su Amazon, forse questo a Washington DC del '73 è uno dei migliori. Ottima riproduzione e sonorità garantite. I GD sono al top del loro rendimento artistico, a mio avviso, confermando quel gran periodo inizi '70 che hanno consolidato la loro fama e energia propulsiva che hanno affascinato tanti come me a quel tempo un pò più giovani di adesso. Un tuffo nel passato, un passato che ritorna grazie alla riedizioni di concerti come questo.
