Super PoliGrip Comfort Seal Strips Denture Adhesive - 40 Strips

Are these perfect? No. Nothing about dentures is perfect. And I appreciate that some people will find they work, others won’t. Trial and error to find what works for you. For me, I’ve struggled with adhesive “ooze” into my throat from upper full set. Told that with the level of ooze I must be using too much or have poor fit. Use less and the freshly relined denture falls out. I’ve never had the fortune of suction working for me. These strips last me around 10+ hours, so would get me through a day, but need reapplying if going out in the evening. But as applying is really simple, and the clean up operation is nothing like that from adhesive, I can live with that. Decided on first weekend of use I needed to challenge the stick with food and picked cheese on toast (hot cheese and crunchy crusts has been a challenge over the last few months) and a carvery (one of the few meals which I struggle to keep to slow and steady even small mouthfuls) The strips survived both, although for first weekend confidence I reapplied the lower partial. Getting used to these is a learning curve in itself - not used to the denture plate against palette, so feels looser than it is. But a learning curve worth sticking with.

I find these very easy and the least messy to use on my partial upper denture. You need to be quite dexterous to open each individual strip, I use scissors but once they are open I run the denture under the tap to stick the strip on then briefly under the tap before inserting in my mouth. They are quite easy to remove, no worse than anything else I have tried, and they keep my denture secure all day.

No not really, I’ve tried every adhesive going but the bottom denture won’t keep in place,it must be the denture, at a cost of £840 you can understand my disappointment, sorry.

I had to have my all my top teeth removed because of cancer and since I have searched for something to keep my denture in place. Up until now I’ve used the Super Poligrip powder and saw this instead. What a waste of money, these strips are useless.

Really pleased with these. I’m allergic to zinc, so that was one of the things I needed to be sure of with an adhesive. I tried these not expecting too much. I was very pleasantly surprised, they are great. So easy to apply and even easier to remove. Leaves little to no residue on your gums, unlike the glues. They make dentures feel very secure and stick very well.

I purchased the Super PoliGrip Comfort Seal Strips Denture Adhesive with high hopes, but unfortunately, they didn't live up to my expectations. These 40 strips fell short in terms of performance and reliability. First and foremost, the adhesive power of these strips was quite weak. They didn't provide the strong hold I desired, leaving me constantly worried about my dentures slipping or loosening throughout the day. This lack of stability was frustrating and made it difficult to comfortably enjoy meals or engage in conversations without constant concern. Furthermore, the application process was far from convenient. The strips were difficult to handle and often tore when trying to remove them from the packaging. This resulted in wastage and added a sense of frustration to my daily routine. In terms of comfort, the Super PoliGrip Comfort Seal Strips did little to alleviate any discomfort that can come with wearing dentures. I found them to be rather thick and, at times, uncomfortable against my gums. Lastly, the promised "comfort seal" aspect of these strips was questionable at best. I didn't experience the desired cushioning effect or improved fit that would create a secure and comfortable denture-wearing experience. Overall, the Super PoliGrip Comfort Seal Strips Denture Adhesive failed to meet my expectations. Their weak adhesive power, difficult application process, lack of comfort, and less than satisfactory fit left me disappointed. I would look for alternative denture adhesive options that provide a stronger and more reliable hold for a comfortable and worry-free denture experience.

These just do not hold for long and need replacing every few hours, especially after eating

They are the best on the market!

The protective layers are un removable and tears off. They have totally gelled with the adhesive strip and becomes messy. In my opinion they should have made it like band aid peel off. Bottom line=Waste of money
