This is my 3rd Auto-Vox product and that is because they make an excellent quality product and their support is very prompt. My 1st camera was a replacement rear view mirror for my 1972 Monte Carlo. The 2nd was for a box truck which was horrible to back up without a camera. Now this new TW1 is perfect for my 2015 Tacoma. I didn't get this for the backup camera though. I needed this for the front of my truck. Since I bought the Tacoma 8 years ago I've always misjudged about how far I can pull up into a parking spot. I don't know why I can not get that straight in my head with the Tacoma and I more times than not have to get back into my vehicle and pull it up 2 or 3 more feet. This camera saves me from doing that now. I love that this unit attached to the license plate and takes literally minutes to install. I have not had it long enough to see if it truly last 3 months on a recharge. I am considering getting a marine type usb outlet and mounting that up to my car battery so all I have to do is plug it in to charge a couple times a year without having to run a charger out to the car or remove the camera. The picture quality is nice and clear without any interference. The controls are easy to operate. I am working on a way to mount this on the driver side visor so all I have to do is flip the visor down when I am parking. I do also like the fact that the lighter plug has a usb port on the back of it so there is no need to purchase a splitter. I haven't found any negatives yet. One feature that I would like to see in future products would be built in dashcam recording capabilities. Overall I feel this is a pretty solid purchase.

My 2012 Corvette is “old school” as it has no backup camera. I wanted a camera that was plug and play and this fits that description perfectly. All I did was attach the camera to the license plate with existing bolts that secure the plate to the car. The backup camera screen is Bluetooth so all I did was plug it into the cigarette lighter port or the phone recharge port which then brings up the screen with the touch of a button. No wiring necessary. It was straight forward and just that simple. Now I can see behind me and have guide lines to help guide the car. I do not know how long it holds a charge other than what the description offers. I will say that I ordered a solar panel as an accessory to the camera to aid in charging while on road trips. The plug that tethers the solar panel to the camera would not fit into the port. So I returned it. I would recommend the camera/screen as so far it has been a godsend in parking lots.

Product came in quickly with world class packing. It was a no brainer installation that took hardly more than 3 minutes. Suction on the monitor base is very strong and image is very crisp. I loved the fact that I didn't have to do any connection to back light or any other thing because that would have required more than $100 in installation charges. Having spare USB port was a plus when you plug it in the cigarette lighter port. Parking lines give the exact distance and location. Camera can be installed anywhere though depending on the preference and moving from one car to another will be very easy. I didn't test how long the charge would last but I have used Auto-vox product before, so I trust them on the long lasting charge. Their customer service also is one of the best.

Bought this for our 2006 Toyota Tundra. I didn't want to run any wires, so the wireless connection made the install easy and the camera connected with the display no problems. Mainly bought it to help with backing down our steep and winding driveway, for which it works great. The video quality is quite good and clear. The battery in the camera has been lasting about 3 months per charge. The power adapter for the display quit working after several months of use (one of the contacts broke off). I contacted the Auto-Vox customer support through their website to hopefully have a replacement adaptor sent to me under warranty, and they were fantastic. They responded in less than 24 hours, and I had a new power adaptor sent to me within 2-days. Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

Easy to install. Works great! End cap where the charging port is must be on for the camera to be operational. I lost the cap so I contacted the seller's customer service. Received a prompt reply they were sending a new one.

Easy Installation worked right out of the box. Have used for 2 months with no problems.

I purchased this to help me see behind my truck which has a camper cover on top. This camera was so easy to install! It only took a few minutes to get working with the wireless connection. No wires to connect! Battery is supposed to last for about 75 days of normal usage but if you tire of recharging you can wire to your electrical system or to a solar charger to keep the battery charged. The view is so clear whether day or night and the screen is very adjustable to give me a perfect view behind my truck. It is so good I use it as my rear view camera. It also works with a 2nd camera for a front view that helps with parking. Great investment that I highly recommend!
