Only real downside is that it is expensive but then it does what it should without too much faffing about. So you get what you pay for. Good quality images, used on farm for reversing various trailers etc so need to be instantly portable, easy to carry around, usable on different machines and with different iPhones/iPads and also for occasional monitoring. Works well enough at night to be very useful for reversing even without lights.

I bought the easy cam for reversing up to the tow bar and it does this very well, you can use it on your home network or just connect it straight to your smart phone independently from any other network The reason for four stars is that the colours can be a bit distorted but this does not Affect The camera Black looks more purple and faces are not easy to make out but I did not buy this for a security cam and the sound is not very good but this does not distract from the fact that the camera does a good job for what I needed it for, I tested this out from a long distance and it worked very well which means you could put this in the back of your Caravan and use it as a reversing Mirror on the car while driving. The magnet is very strong and grips onto the vehicle well On the home network you can view the camera from anywhere, my verdict is more versatile than other cams but a bit pricey if needed I would buy again.

The camera arrived speedily with Amazon Prime. Easy enough to set-up & link to iPhone ( a little patience is required on first set-up). I wanted a camera that I could put in the rear window of my caravan so that I could get a rear view the road behind. This was initially for reversing, but I soon found that it was great as a “rear view mirror” when travelling. It was particularly useful on the continent, where I normally have a poorer view down the left side of the car/caravan, but this made pulling out in to traffic much easier with a better view. I used a suction mount holder with standard screw fit to mount the camera, upside down (to enable it to point slightly downwards out of the rear window) I used the “Swift wifi Cam” software which enable me to “flip & mirror” the image so that it corrected being mounted upside down & provided the same perspective as if using a mirror. The guide lines on the software helped with assessing relative distance for reversing. The battery lasted an amazing 8.5 hours when used on long journeys and the wifi signal remained very consistent throughout the entire journey. The camera proved invaluable when on a mountain road, blocked by a lorry ahead, necessitating reversing back where I needed a clear view of the traffic behind to ensure I could reverse with confidence. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Very glitchy signal and freeze frame which doesn't help when reversing

I wanted this to use as a rear view camera on my caravan when travelling. As soon as you open the box you can tell it is a high quality product. The apps both connect easily depending on if you want the marker lines or not and the wifi maintains a really good connection throughout the journeys we have taken so far. I fitted it securely to one of the rear handles of the caravan but if you had sufficient metal surface it would be secure with the supplied magnetic mount. I really couldn't recommend this camera enough and the added safety and peace of mind it gives is priceless!

Brilliant worked just as it said - I used it to watch horses in a trailer for travelling. Worked brill great picture.

Je viens de recevoir ma camera. Elle me sert de caméra de recul pour mon fourgon et sincèrement ça change la vie !!! Très bonnes premières impressions. Le parametrage est facile même si l'application et le mode d'emploi ne sont qu'en anglais. (Dommage) Il manque deux ou trois petites choses pour que ce soit parfait: Il serait génial qu'on puisse allumer ou éteindre le flash depuis l'application. Encore plus génial qu'on puisse allumer ou éteindre (ou peut être mettre et sortir de veille) la caméra elle même depuis le smartphone. Il serait bien aussi que l'application permette d'empêcher l'écran de se mettre en veille. Sinon en utilisation surveillance maison (sur le réseau wifi maison) on accède aux images depuis l'extérieur sans problème y compris en 3G/4G. Ça marche bien. Une alarme envoie une notification en cas de détection de mouvement. Ça marche bien ( pas essaye en 4g. Je n'ai par contre pas trouvé comment enregistrer les photos ou films de ce qui est déclenché par l'alarme. Je n'ai pas encore trouvé non plus pour envoyer un mail, l'application le propose mais je n'ai pas réussi à le faire fonctionner. Malgré tout très contente de mon achat.

Die Camera wurde originalverpackt pünktlich geliefert! Noch wichtiger war mir natürlich die Funktion der EsiCam. Beim Laden leuchtet die rote LED, da sie nach 13 Stunden immer noch nicht ausging ist hier etwas nicht in Ordnung! 6 Std Ladezeit lt. Hersteller Das Betätigen vom Einschaltknopf bewirkte leider überhaupt nichts, egal ob im Lademodus oder ohne Ladespannung, egal ob kurz oder lang gedrückt. Der Reset der Camera funktionierte auch nicht! Maßlose Enttäuschung! Die Camera geht jetzt zurück und wird hoffentlich gegen ein funktionierendes Teil getauscht. Bei dem Preis kann man eine Qulitäts- und Funktionskontrolle erwarten. … Update … Nach erfolgreicher Rücksendung habe ich eine neue Camera bestellt und erhalten. Diese funktionierte nun erfreulicherweise einwandfrei. Die Möglichkeiten der Kamera sind nahezu wunschlos, leider ist der Bildausschnitt für den Einsatz als Rückfahrkamera am Wohnwagen zu klein in der Breite. Weiterhin sind doch erhebliche Verzögerungen bei der Entfernung von ca. 8m zu beklagen. Für meinen Einsatz nich zu gebrauchen, aber an sich ist die Kamera, wenn sie dann funktioniert empfehlenswert.

Ich war ja skeptisch aufgrund der durchwachsenen Bewertungen, aber ich bräuchte so eine Cam für das Rückwärtsfahren mit Wohnwagen... Beim Einrichten ging die Cam während des Ladens nicht an, erst nach Trennung vom Ladekabel. Dann konnte man Weiterladen. Das Einrichten hat dann auch geklappt. Leider wurde das WiFi der EsiCam nur beim erstmaligen Einrichten angezeigt. Ich wollte die Cam heute mit dem Auto testen - keine Chance. Weder beim iPhone noch beim Android-Tablet erscheint das WiFi... Der Reset-Knopf macht nichts. Muss leider zurück gehen, habe auch bei diesem Preis keine Lust auf einen zweiten Versuch... schade!
