You can make it work with a little Tape.
Not really the right width but close enough I could make it work okay. The right material as to OEM, so can't complain really. works!

Not the OEM pre filter that came with my unit. No plastic support frame with filter. Filter media is a denser type foam material which may adversely affect air flow. Will make my own custom filter next round.

Media recessed area of filter is smaller than the original plastic frame. Should come with plastic frame would make replacement easier.
