Is this made in China?

Beurer has confirmed 28/01/21 ALL of it's oximeters are made in China. Premium price and the company website saying 'German engineering' is what is fooling people. I was going to buy when I thought it was German, but now won't.

This looks exactly like the contec d1 cms50d1 and the sanitas pulseoximeters. can anyone confirm if they are the same model inside as well?

Hi, I am very sorry but this is not something that i can confirm unfortunately with regards to the Contect device. As for the Sanitas this is by Beurer so I can advise that this is the same just a cheaper brand. Kind regards Beurer UK

Is it suitable for child (2 years old) use?

Although there are more appropriate oximeters for children, I've tested it to my 3yr old nephew and it worked i.e. it gave a measurement. Cannot be sure of course if this affects it's measurement reliability. Hope I helped.

What is the maximum age limit please?

I use it on my 88year old Mum if that helps?
