Okra 10 x Wooden Circle Shapes, Plain Wood Craft Tags 50mm (5cm)

I'm pleased with these. They are decent quality "unfinished" plywood (ie no paint, preserver or varnish - just the bare wood).They are made from 2 slices of 1mm wood, glued together to make a 2mm thickness, then cut into discs. This has made them fairly strong, and less likely to warp or split. I bought the 50mm size, and I can just about bend/flex them along the grain, but it would take some deliberate effort to snap one, and I don't think they would break by accident.They are also very well finished - totally smooth, on both sides and around the edges, all equally good, there wasn't a single "dud" in my pack.They have a nice tight grain - I needed to drill and countersink some tiny holes close to the edges, and it worked perfectly - no splitting or cracking.So I'm happy with them. For around 30p each, it's a lot easier to get these, delivered in a few days from a UK supplier, than to try to make them myself. I'll definitely be ordering my next lot from here.EDIT (02/02/16): These discs can be "branded" (with a basic branding iron) very successfully.

These wooden circles are very good. Smooth, flat, and with clean edges. The colour is light enough to do pyrography directly onto them as they are. Note that the edges are dark where they have been cut. Looks like they've been cut with lasers.

Great shape, came quickly but wood quality poor, when came to use them they several have split/peeled and can’t be used.
