Microscale Micro Krystal Klear # MSKK

Does the job.

An excellent product, Microscale Kristal Kleer is a PVA-based substance developed to enable model makers to apply glazing to windows of models in places where sheets of clear glazing material are difficult to fit. It has the same consistency as Unibond or Resin W but dries completely clear. It is applied best using a cocktail stick, which is dipped into the bottle and by carefully building up a 'window' of Kristal Kleer in the aperture, where it remains under surface tension. Obviously it does have its limits but I've used it successfully on apertures up to about 6mm square. It is best to ensure it remains horizontal while it dries. I is opaque white when first applied and looks horrendous BUT it does dry perfectly clear. It can also be used as an adhesive to fit small glazing pieces. Much recommended.

Excellent for creating navigation lights on scale model aircraft and I use this to bond photoetch parts - allows you to position everything perfectly - better than superglue, although you need to be patient as the curing time is quite long. Also, obviously very good with clear parts and canopies - applied with a toothpick, a little goes a ling way. A must-have item for any scale modeller.

I have been using it for many years.it is very good for sticking transparent cockpits,any excess is easily wiped off. it can also be used to make small windows by spreading carefully across the hole where the window is.much better than hunting around for the kits small transparencies which have an annoying habit of shooting off when cutting them off the sprue.

Absolutely fantastic product. I model WW2, German (mainly) armour and wanted something to reproduce the ballistic glass in the vision ports, glass lenses of headlights, periscope lenses etc etc. Initially, I was sceptical. I needn't have been. This stuff does a perfect job and it performs well simply as a glue, too. The gloopy product goes on white but dries to a crystal (no pun intended) clear solid 'glass' over a few hours - overnight seems best. No matter how thick I've applied it, it has cured clear after a few hours. It's also workable (doesn't set too quickly - thus allowing you to rectify any mistakes), is over-paintable and cleans up with water while still wet. Hey, what's not to like?

This product is easy to use and is brilliant for use on window's and clear part's as it does'nt fog the clear part's and dry's clear !! and any excess can be wiped of with a damp cloth before it start's to set , i also found it to be very good at attaching bumper's etc on model car's held together with tape until the product has set , you have to allow it to set fully for brilliant result's , ( I leave mine over night to dry ) Highly recommend this product !!!!
