It works, and does what it is purchased for. Unlike seamed/fused bands and ties, these are seamless so they will not start fraying and breaking apart at that fused spot (a common issue that I have faced with other bands). I haven't inspected all of the bands for quality or integrity...but for the price and quantity I am willing to accept a few defective bands IF there are any. They are a fair bit fluid absorbent, so keep that in mind if you oil your hair or use the bands while your hair is still damp. They do not grip / stick to hair strands, so people with wavy and curls might find these are little bit less painful to use than some other alternatives.
