Another quality product from Ego! REALLY like the improved “safety “ built into the trigger. Easier to disengage than the older style. Perfectly compatible with the brush cutter. Easy to use. I expect excellent battery life like the older power+ on my pole saw.

I've bought multiple products from EGO Power+ and all of them have been excellent. The power head continues that trend. I bought it because I needed to do some hedge trimming and some brush cutting. The head is nicely shaped and nicely balanced and comes with a handle and a shoulder strap--that's a good touch that wasn't always included in other tools. The shaft is carbon fiber, makes it strong and light. It didn't come with a battery or charger. That suited me because I already have 3 chargers and 4 batteries from other EGO tools and they work well with this head, so it was nice to not pay extra for something I didn't need. I got an extension, a hedge trimmer, and a bush cutter to use with this head. They were all very simple to snap on, had a good fit, and were easy to take off and change to other tools as needed. The motor has plenty of power and, as mentioned above, works with all my EGO batteries. I've been able to use it to trim several trees and shrubs both with and without the extension pole and I've used it to clear some fairly solid brush. All of that was done with the motor on low speed and it went through everything (including saplings a bit over an inch in diameter) with no problems whatsoever. There are several other attachments I'm looking forward to buying to use with this head. Very happy with this purchase and strongly recommend it.

This power head is significantly improved over the one I purchased 15 years ago. It still works with a battery so old it is no longer sold and an edge trimmer of similar age. The load bearing strap is convenient and effective. The semicircular handle is adjustable.

This product is compatible with other 56 volt EGO products, making it very cost effective. excellent design, construction and materials. "self loading" is a HUGE plus!

This tool effortlessly tackles thick brush and briars, cutting through them like butter. Even the ones as thick as a pencil were easily handled. Larger obstacles the size of my thumb required a bit more effort, but treating it like a saw blade did the trick in no time. The toughest ones were no match, taking less than 30 seconds to gnaw through. Highly recommend for any clearing tasks.

Has plenty of power. I am using a EGO 6ah battery used most of the day with scissor head ,power head went through tall weeds and bush no problem . Will be buying pole hedge trimmer for for this great unit .

Best tool if you already have Ego product. I have the ego mower with quick charger. Same charger works with multi tool! I own the weed trimmer, chain saw, edge trimmer and extension pole!

Best battery operated yard tool in my opinion.

design is good but for seniors who handles this with the attachments, including the battery which carries quite a load, its very heavy to work for a long period. battery plus the whole attachments must reduce substantial weight for seniors. otherwise, its not ment for seniors.
