Worked faultlessy
Despite seeing some negative reviews I took the chance (as it was cheap anyway) and it worked faultlessy straight out of the box. Obviously cannot yet know if it will continue to be so over time. Very pleased I decided to get it. Great value.

Very good seems to do everything it should do but the one thing I really wanted it for was to make DVDs from my laptop holiday videos etc that sort of thing to play on my TV but my TV would not recognize it still a good bit of kit for the price 👍

Avoid at all costs, no matter how good the price is
This drive only worked for a single disc, then it stopped working.Popped open the plastic cover and found that the drive inside is from 2005! No wonder it doesn’t work.AVOID AT ALL COSTS, yes it is cheap but you don’t know what 20 year old rubbish you’re getting! Especially when it is marketed as brand new!

worth the money
works very well, reasonably quiet. very lightweight. case is a little flimsy but holds up well. easy to use just plug and play. works on windows 11 ok but not on chromebook.

Does work however...
I have been able to use this product to take lots of old photos and videos off of some old discs however it was a little temperamental. It didn't like my Macbook unless it was plugged to power. To get around it sometimes powering down whilst loading the disc I was unplugging it and plugging it back in a lot.

Good price and good product
Very easy to use, just plug in and then control from your computer. Works well with most of my computers, reads all discs but not all my computers can play every type of file. This seems to be a computer issue and not one of the DVD drive. I would purchase again if needed.
