When I first got this heater, I had it installed in the back of the open space under the kitchen sink. It provides hot water for the sink just fine, BUT it shuts off after any power outage or fluctuation. I couldn't crawl under the sink to turn it back on because of my age, so I had to have somebody younger crawl under it to turn back on. In the end, I had to have it moved to above the counter so I could reach the power button. The button is not something that you physically move to the on or off position so using something like a length of wood or plastic pipe didn't work. It turns off or on by the physical closeness of a finger to the switch.

Heater indicator says its on but heater does not start. Not with higher or lower pressure water. only used it 1 month....

This little tankless water heater works real well. It’s easy to get set up too. It only works for one thing like a shower or a sink. It’s not got the whole house or RV. It has been working well for my purposes (outside shower). We love it and it provides plenty of hot water. You just don’t run out! I love it!

My garage is roughly 50' away from my house so running hot water to it for the utility sink didn't seem practical. I bought this so my husband only had to run one water line and we could still have hot and cold water whenever we need it. I decided to have him put it on its own breaker so we just turn in on when we need to use the water and don't have to use more power than is needed. Installation and plumbing was pretty straight forward. I will say if your not knowledgeable about electric panels or wiring you might want to get a electrician to do the wiring. Probably my favorite part about this is now when we wash our vehicles with hot water it seems to clean it better and dry off with almost no water marks.

The manufacturer does not have any documentation online for this model, and the documentation shipped with the product is limited. This unit does not work if the flow rate is below 0.2 GPM. It does not modulate (adjust heat based on the required temperature rise). It’s either all on or all off. It will not work to heat water in a domestic hot water recirculation loop with a high efficiency Grundfos recirculation pump because its flow meter introduces too much restriction (head pressure) into the line. Look for a modulating unit if you are using a demand heater to heat your domestic hot water recirculation loop. Good luck finding documentation to switch this unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit. I couldn’t.
