OneSpace Contemporary Glass-Top Desk for Small Spaces, Small Writing Desk, Black

Great desk - modern, sleek, and very sturdy. Assembly took about 30 minutes by myself. NOTE: when assembling, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and DO NOT TIGHTEN SCREWS ALL THE WAY until you place the glass on the desk. Keeping the screws only about 50% screwed in allows wiggle room for securing the glass top to the stand. Another pro tip: secure the glass to the stand by doing it upside down - place the glass on the floor (carpet since it is glass) and place the stand on top and then secure the two. The glass is heavy and moving around the stand to find the screw holes to attach the glass while balancing it on the stand is much too difficult. In overall, I researched desks across various websites for like a week and this was the best one I found based on apparent quality and price - so far that holds true. Downsides are since the top is black glass, fingerprints, smudges, and dust show very easily. Also, you will need a mouse-pad to use a computer mouse, since the laser on the bottom of the mouse just reflects off the glass and the mouse won't work.

The photos here don't do this awesome desk justice i feel. I needed a glass top because sometimes my plants sweat. This was moderately easy to assemble, though hex screws... *shakes fist*. Read the directions all the way through first, it clearly notes NOT to tighten the screws until the WHOLE THING is assembled, then go through tightening. I somehow missed that step and it made things difficult for a hot second. Desk is super sturdy, also.

Beautiful. Would have given it five stars, but one of the screw holes didn't line up exactly so assembly was a bit of a challenge. I was able to get it put together, though, and it's lovely.

This is the most poorly manufactured and sloppily designed products I have ever seen. I would go so far as to call it Dangerous. The first one I ordered came with the glass shattered even though the box was undamaged. The replacement came and based on the simple design it should have taken 20 minutes to put together. (I am a lawyer and an engineer who used to build furniture for a hobby) but it has now taken 3 hours because only half of the holes line up and almost all of the screws are too short. This must be a common occurrence because they have included in 6 different places to please contact them first for replacement pieces. I guess it is cheaper to print off bright colored warnings then it is to actually fix their seriously flawed manufacturing process. I have worked on enough product liability cases to recognize that these people know exactly what they are doing. But what really makes it dangerous is that in the assembly instructions the have you balance this super heavy glass while trying to line up screws from below. If you decide to try your luck on this the DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN anywhere near while you put it together. Since the maximum weight the glass supports is 110lbs I also say that kids should not be allowed near it period.This was a really cheap price for a desk. But it has been really expensive for a nightmare.Amazon should think twice about listing this horribly flawed product.

Once assembled the writing table looked good and gave me what I was looking for.HOWEVER, there were two significant assembly issues: (i) one screw that was incorrectly sized (too wide) stopped the assembly process in its tracks, and I had to wait several days until a replacement was delivered (the manufacturer would not send the correct part by express mail); and (ii) it was very difficult to line up holes so that pipes could be connected with each other. It was no small matter to finally get it done, and was very close to giving up and demanding a refund. In other words, the assembly was <not> user-friendly.

I finally gave in after 4 months of working at my dining room table. I bought this "desk". I wanted something that was fairly compact b/c it had to go in my spare room and I didn't want to take the bed out. This fits perfect in the corner of the room for my home office. I have a tablet and a monitor on it and have plenty of room to keep my large appt. Book on it as well. I am very pleased with it. I figured if I got sent back to the office I could always use this desk/table somewhere else and not be stuck with a typical desk.I would have given it 5 stars but the corner of the glass came damaged. It appears the corner got knocked and the frost coating came off underneath. this heavy glass back! This was an easy set up too!! My husband forbids me to buy any 'put it together yourself furniture, but I did it anyway! It was fairly easy and I could have done it all myself! Not enough of a bother for me to send . I just put the damaged piece towards me and not facing out.If you are on the fence and don't need a huge amount of space you won't be sorry! It even came a day early!

I bought this for myself. :-) I've had my eye on it for over 2 years. The ice blue color fits my decor perfectly. It's a nice size, sturdy and was relatively straightforward to put together. The first desk that was sent, the packaging box had a big gash in it, and therefore the desk had a big gash. I contacted the seller and they had UPS come and pick up the damaged desk and send out a replacement ASAP. All in all, I had to wait an extra two days to get my desk, which really isn't that bad at all. Would definitely recommend.

Sturdy little desk that looks sleek. I bought it for a small gaming PC / study desk setup. The glass top is pretty heavy actually and it screws in very secure to the frame so it's just not setting there on top with little rubber non slip pads (that we all know eventually let the glass slip on other desks). Its very easy to assemble, takes maybe 20 min, most of which is just unwrapping the glass top from it's shipping foam and fiddling with bolt alignment. I'd recommend this desk, especially if you get the chance to buy it from Amazon Warehouse like I did , mine was listed in good (new) condition for $60 and I can say it indeed was in pristine condition when it arrived.
