fanxiang SSD 2TB Internal Solid State Drive SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5", 3D NAND, SLC Cache, Up to 520MB/s, Compatible with Laptops and PC Desktops(S101)

With memory and storage prices remaining elevated, I went looking for a drive that balanced cost with reliable performance. After checking a recommendation via Alexa and doing some quick research, it is clear that this brand is gaining real traction by hitting that sweet spot of high quality at a very accessible price point. The trajectory feels a lot like how TeamGroup built its reputation here on Amazon. I ordered this specifically to replace a failing mechanical drive in a coworker’s computer, and the result was night and day. It is significantly faster than the machine was even the day it was first set up. Moving from an aging mechanical spinning disk to these SSD speeds provides the kind of immediate, tangible boost that makes an old computer feel brand new. Beyond the speed, the component choice is a major plus. This drive utilizes TLC chips, which offer a much better lifespan for writes compared to the cheaper, budget-focused QLC alternatives flooding the market. For anyone looking to breathe life back into an older system without breaking the bank, this drive is a fantastic value.

I bought this 1TB SSD to use as storage for my multi-camera hub system, and it was basically plug and play. The hub recognized it right away as a connected hard drive, showed the storage properly, and started using it for loop recording without me having to fight with setup. For this type of use, I wanted something quiet, simple, and reliable. Since it is an SSD, there is no spinning hard drive noise, and it does not add the same heat or vibration concerns as an older style drive. The available storage showed around 953GB, which is normal after formatting, and that gives plenty of room for camera recordings. Installation was easy, the drive was recognized quickly, and it has been working well so far. For a budget SATA SSD, it does exactly what I needed. - Plug and play for my camera hub storage. - Recognized right away as a connected hard drive. - Works with loop recording. - Around 953GB usable after formatting. - Quiet since it is an SSD. - No spinning drive noise. - Good amount of storage for multiple cameras. - Easy installation. - Good value for the money. - Better option than using a small memory card for backup storage. Verdict: Great budget SSD for hub storage, especially if you want quiet, simple, plug-and-play recording space.

No complains, been years and still same speed as day 1 , great budget option.

I needed a new disk for a machine I repurposed; just needed a 3.5" adapter so it would fit snug in the original hdd bay, which is also pictured.

Worked great for years in a ps4 but corrupted a year back probably due to consistent heat. Otherwise it worked great and was fast.

Excellent SSD drive. Very fast with lots of space. Highly recommend.

Fast little SSD

Upgraded an older iMac. This drive is fast, 15 second startup time, makes operating the computer very fast.

Produto cumpre o que promete e é condizente com a propaganda. Deu uma sobrevida incrível pro PCzinho que tenho. Podem comprar sem medo de errar

The fanxiang S101 500GB SSD (SATA III 6Gb/s) is very good!

TRES BIEN
