Tips became frayed and un useable,better to use a paintbrush and save yourself the money.complete waste of time.Only gave one star cos it wouldn't let me put none!

Worked great. Just runs out pretty quickly. But does a good job.

Years ago, I painted my tracks a rust color using bottled paint and a fine brush. This time around, I used the Tidy Track Painted Rusty Rail which was so much easier. The only real problem was the disintegration of the wick (two are provided) which got chewed up on the code 100 rail spikes. Eventually, after 40+ feet of painting, I removed the second frayed wick. repeatedly inserted a small artist's brush into the wick opening and again, as years ago, painted the rails to complete the job. Annoying but successful. I also tried the piggyback the two wicks to get an edge that was not frayed (short term usefulness) and even used pipe cleaner wicks (again, somewhat successful). If not for the wicks going bad, this product would get 5 starts. (The weathered track painter does not suffer this problem since the rail spikes don't shred the wick.)
